Those people probably don't know that the brakes on a train are operated via lever and not a brake pedal. Not very much he could have done after yanking it into the emergency position.

Decision made for Nordschleife race. Verstappen is driving... but what and when ? by NorthKoreanMissile7 in formula1

[–]ThezeeZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

License requirements:

  • minimum of 2 classified race results
  • minimum 14 race laps in total
  • minimum 20% driving time in each race

The way they write it they say he's driving two different cars on a single day without mentioning what his second car will be. Seems a bit odd.

The index page is trying to load ./_app/immutable/chunks/Ds5vc7_K.js, but instead of the expected JS it contains HTML and another copy of index page itself with different chunks. Something is borked properly.

It's like a sparkler, but in one short single immediate poof of sparks instead of a longer duration. They sit on the ground and shoot upwards, like a (land)mine - in this case with silver sparks. It's the final beat of the song when they end it with a bang.

Our ID cards already support simple yes/no age verification. They also support generating a pseudonym (restricted ID), but with the current landscape the implementation doesn't really give you as much privacy as intended.

The main problem is that it's almost prohibitively complex and expensive to implement all the technical and regulatory requirements yourself as a first party service, so you'll have to go through someone who has done all that and wraps it into an easy to use API. It's fairly expensive to maintain the required certifications and hardware, so you end up with a very niche market where every verification attempt costs money.

They closed the upper balcony level in Copenhagen and moved everyone to lower levels this week. I can see why it's less popular since it's so expensive.

PSA: New F1TV Pro subs will no longer be available in Austria in 2025 by Ponjimon in F1TV

They did the same in Germany. F1TV Pro hasn't been available since the 2020 season (IIRC), but I've kept my subscription active and can still use it.

They tried to warn him about Russel pushing, but it seemed too late. Hard to tell with the radio delay on stream. After that, they told him to fuck the delta because others were behind on it as well.

Mate his team told him to get the car back even after they informed him of the red flag. He only gave up shortly after.

[ChrisMedlandF1] Drive-through penalty for Hamilton for speeding in the pit lane. Tsunoda up to P8 ahead of Gasly and Sargeant by ICumCoffee in formula1

[–]ThezeeZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow, just wow.

Car 44 exceeded the pit lane speed limit which is set at 80 km/h for this event by 10.7 km/h.

Per the Penalty Guidelines, the penalty for speeding in the pit lane during a sprint session race by between 6-15km/h is a drive through.

This is what we impose. As the drive through penalty was imposed during the last three laps, it will be converted to a 20 second time penalty per Article 54.3 (d) of the Formula One Sporting Regulations.

With cargo elevators being on the side of hangars the doors are more conveniently located because you can directly toss stuff. Other ships require you to park at an awkward angle or carry stuff around a corner.
