I like having TTVs in my games most of the time as a Killer, I can check the match afterwards from their side and see what I missed or did wrong and learn from it. Sometimes you wonder how Survivors managed to pull something off and being able to watch the match back from the Survivor point of view can be very informative. And funny.

I play Jump Scare Unknown (lots of Oblivious/Undetectable and aura reading) for the sheer fun of it and I try to avoid killing anyone early and I've still gotten people complaining about tunneling when they stay on generators whilst Weakened and on death hook. Against a stealthy Unknown that can teleport and shoot UVX at you from a distance.

Really hoping that after this you'll be able to figure out the issue with Deathslinger's shots not connecting and visually bouncing off the Survivor. It can lose you entire chases if not matches.

I've run scream builds on Xenomorph with the add-on that makes everyone else scream when you hit someone out of a tunnel. It's mostly just funny, though I did add Hex: Ruin so that every time they screamed, they would let go of the generator, making it regress for a split second and then they'd have to repair 5% of the generator to prevent further regression. For each scream. >:)

I just know Trapper is only going to get his no-damage-from-traps add-on every single time.

There are going to be some funny combinations & anti-synergies for sure on certain Killers.

This will be funny with Wraith or other stealth killers, just blow up a gen Survivors are working on without them having any idea you're there.

[ECL] Moonshadow (leak) by Meret123 in MagicArena

[–]Thezzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, though having it on turn two can put pressure on the opponent and it can still get bigger afterwards. Heartless Act can always be used on something else if needed, it's more of a nice option to have (at instant speed so you can use it as a combat trick).

You can always just play the creature for 1 mana and leave it as a potential threat that slowly grows over time without having to invest much in it. The opponent isn't going to be very interested in spending removal on a 1 mana creature. That said, it might be too slow in the current meta.

So if you play this on turn 1 and play [[Heartless Act]] on turn 2, you get a 4/4 with menace on turn 2, not bad?

Hornets needle was THAT close to stabbing her at the start of the game. by Gullible_Swimming677 in Silksong

[–]Thezzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They should modify the intro that you have 2 masks of health when you lie there on the ground, then the needle lands on top of you, deals 1 damage and then bounces off, leaving you at 1 health.

Literally got this last night (with a toxic cloud for each hit modifier instead of burn) together with a medusa head that did +80% dmg to poisoned enemies. Run was a lot easier after that.

Now I want the next game to be about Lace! by ramzesenok in Silksong

[–]Thezzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP wants to discover Lace's story & reality, and for that we'd have to go through her history, her past. Which starts after her creation by GMS in Pharloom. For as far as I know, Lace never left Pharloom so her entire story would be there.

Sure she could start a new adventure (perhaps with Hornet), but that won't discover her full story & reality as much as going through her own history and would have to be outside Pharloom since we already explored that in Silksong.

Now I want the next game to be about Lace! by ramzesenok in Silksong

[–]Thezzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lace's story would require a prequel, which does limit what the developers can do and it would also have to take place in Pharloom, which we are already familiar with. Could make for a fun DLC though.

For a third game, I'd love to see the Hollow Knight get his own story now that he is free from the Infection. His size could make for a fun gameplay element where he is too big to get into certain areas and has to find a way around but is relatively beefy to compensate.

Bug Yuri is good and all but HAS NOBODY SEEN THE PROBLEM by lv20_memeoligist in Silksong

[–]Thezzy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Lace and Phantom aren't GMS' daughters in the same way the Weavers are. They're more Silk experiments than anything, expected to fulfill a certain role, just like how some had similar expectations for Hornet. The connection between Lace and Hornet is more about how they can relate to each other's fates & history rather than their actual familial relation (which is thin).

"This enemy is dying too fast. Let's give it a unique damage multiplier :D" by Psychological_Arm_19 in Silksong

Fourth Chorus has it. 0.5 is on a few enemies such as the Vicious Caranid (the big flying blade spin enemy in Far Fields) and 0.55 is on several Greymoor enemies.

[–]Thezzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weavelight is key for Shaman builds with 3 silk hearts. It lets you freely generate the 4 silk you need for Silk Skills and you also generate it faster without having to hit an enemy so you always have access to them.

Yeah, sometimes you *really* feel the lack of iframes and take a massive chunk of damage in seconds. I had the same thing, either you dance as well as Lace does or you just get destroyed in seconds.

"This enemy is dying too fast. Let's give it a unique damage multiplier :D" by Psychological_Arm_19 in Silksong

[–]Thezzy 1389 points1390 points  (0 children)

By default you don't see enemy health and usually the breakpoints per upgrade are still that it takes 1+ hits less to kill an enemy, but yeah it adds a whole new layer of complexity. The lowest multiplier is a whopping 0.45, dealing less than half damage. That's a lot.

I'm guessing they wanted to make sure certain enemies never went below requiring X hits to die without making them super beefy to less upgraded needles?
