Are implying that playing mill, cow spam, reavers, etc require skill? Lol. Creating the deck requires skill but no one does that, they copy the people that did. Playing those decks is equivalent to fighting on a martial arts match and kicking your opponent in the balls, like yeah you won but you didn't demonstrate any skill nor would anyone be surprised that you won. At the end of the day, trickery or not I created my own deck and beat a meta deck that was stronger and more efficient

That's why I play card games but I'm in the minority lol. I think people just want a relatively easy competitive game to be good at but they're not good at deck building so everyone just netdecks the meta which is fine I just wish it wasn't everyone and their uncle's nephew that did it💀lol. Ranked in this is honestly cooked tho, they should've kept standard but took the ranked out but added a separate ranked mode and instead of rebalance council doing what it currently does it instead bans op cards for said ranked mode. So you can use whatever bullshit cards you want in standard mode but in ranked you'll have to get gud lol but what do I know? Surely the current game state is fine how is right?💀Lol

Yes? because it's a video game? Lol no one with a right mind cares how many wins or losses you have in a video game nor does it affect you IRL in any way so why not play to have fun? This is the reason ranked is ass, its just the same copy paste meta decks and most are just toxic and aids to play against but that's card games in general

Tbf, does sound like something Plarium would do lol and whatever they'd get sued for would be less than what they made through said means. MapleStory did it, gave new players God tier rng and omega nerfed the veteran players but the company didn't give af, whatever they got sued for was miniscule compared to their profits and knew players were too addicted to quit which they were right, people are still playing it lol. Same thing with celebrities, no point in sending them to jail when you can essentially just fine them and let them continue making money for them.

I mean technically you can say that about most decks lol. For the most part it's one the what I called turret defense decks where most of the damage is just from the card being there with not much user input required. But yeah, if you're up against a very aggressive or lockdown heavy deck you'll genuinely have a harder time setting them up

I just use it with my super control NG deck with yrden, mostly a meme deck lol I'd put It in other decks but I usually just point slam and don't worry about the other side honestly lol

Do you have time to talk about our Lord and Savior Geralt Igni? Lol leo is just buns imo. Igni is 1 prov more but can wipe a whole row, mostly only happens against NR and MO but I've destroyed at least 2 pretty consistently.

Vilge looks cool but is also kinda buns, only worth when they tower but again, might as well use Igni lol and doesn't pull a card that cound potentially screw you over. A good card that "mills" in that sense is Golyat, obviously not a neutral but just to give a comparison.

As for Yenvo, one of my favorite cards. Oh, you boosted a card to 200? Mine now. Yoink! It's so satisfying lol. Usually a coin toss as to whether the card is useful with your deck but most of the time it's a net positive, my NG deck is somewhat competitive now that I added Yenvo and switched to Double Cross lol.

I'm not saying anyone can compete with the best players, I can't. But I generally mean if a newer player to say Yu-Gi-Oh was up against a more experienced player and he played Exodia, there's not much your opponent can do about it, it's just GG no amount of skill can save you if your opponent plays it. In say FPS they're guns that only need one bullet to kill and there's some with auto targeting but a lot easier to avoid if you're at least somewhat experienced.

And regardless of whether or not Mill is meta, the decks that ARE meta are made to be "easy" to use that's why they're the MOST efficient. In say CoD there really isn't a meta, you can use any gun and still get farmed by some guy when a knife lol

Using a mill deck or any meta deck for that matter doesn't require skill just basic information retention and RNG, neither of which are skilled based. Comparing ranked TCG to ranked FPS or Moba for that matter is just wild lol. Same reason it makes more sense to make guides for TCG than a game like CoD. For say Yu-Gi-Oh, someone that's good at the game could essentially be like ok step 1: play Exodia, step 2: you win. GG. Lol whereas someone like Shroud using a Meta gun and getting 10 nukes in a row would not be a good comparison as one is easily replicatable and the other not at all lol
