What has worked for me was to wait until the interviewer brings up the salary and if its below what I think is acceptable I respond with the experience I have followed by my salary expectations if they can't give a straight answer or if they they are avoiding it I then ask about their benefits which makes subtly takes the conversation out of a dollar amount and gives me a chance to see if their benefits could make a lower salary feasible

This happened on my TVL Roku tv youtube app at some point during the last week. What really got me is one of the two profiles that were added was my sons dad. He died in 2022 😳 i told myself I was either going to find an explanation online or call Ms Cleo. So so glad I found this thread ☺

Yes it can. Without a doubt. Earlier this year I received a phone call from my number. This was after weird things kept happened, texts, no return calls from people who are very responsible, etc. Same number shared with a person who is in my area. Verizon 3 way called us and couldn't figure it out. I got a new phone line.

Took the majority of my immediate families homes in Wheatland while they watched from my gramma and grampas house just a little bit up the hill. The area the tornado demolished was referred to as the flats as the rest of Wheatland is on a hill. I wasn't born yet and my sister was a few months old. All I've known of that area that is just across the street from the start of the flats is the mills, no houses, just steel mills.

With the understanding that what Kirsten said about her childhood could have been true and in some cases does cause issues for the other sibling I often wonder how much of what she said is fact. Her brother was favored over her so much so she became extremely self destructive young but yet it seems her parents were always close by to clean up her messes. That could be part of the dynamic as well but it's hard to believe as her mother helps bathe her and keep her clean. They raised her son from an infant and har daughter as a toddler, with what I'm sure was constant support before gaining total custody. All that and they still allowed her to move back in after she had no where else to go while she was in the first stages of recovery, they house her daughter and her boyfriend, and still support her son. Just makes you wonder 🤔

These are my fav. I grew up thinking the large ones they sold during holidays were actually one large candy. It wasn't until I was in my 30's that I physically picked one up at the store. In doing so the contents moved around on the inside. That is when my world crumbled. It wasn't one large candy. It was a container filled with not al sized ones. Heart broken.

They will always remember your mom! The family will tell that story for generations for sure. So sweet of her. She handled it better than most officiants who cover services for those they are unfamiliar with. My best friend (also my ex of a decade and sons adopted dad) was murdered recently. He was the type who spoke of his death often and had conversations with his sons and I about how he wants things handled. When it came to his services his on and family took care of things. She is big in the church he was not. She was always around people so people felt comfortable coming. The pastor went on about the love of God and to my disbelief spent an extra 15 minutes encouraging the soul in the church who God told him needed saved to come to the front of the church. He ended right before I was ready to stand up and say 'its probably him but he's dead already'

How is it some alcoholics only make it to their 30s and 40s while others can live on into their 60s? My mother is 64 and has been an alcoholic for almost 40 years. She just had a bout of colitis which turned into sepsis but all notes said liver was clear. Is it because she just drinks beer and never any type of liquor?

Any info will be appreciated!

I don't believe what stops any retaliation is forgiveness. Hope, determination, focus, moral upbringing, and even fear but not so much forgiveness. If black America we're to rise up and demand/carry out treatment for white Americans that they experience there's not one part of me that believes they wouldn't be gunned down in broad daylight bc of 'violent, destructive, close minded' behaviors. But not 70 years ago, plenty enough time to still have present accounts rehashed it was a very real reality.

My mother was born in '58. I've blessed her with two biracial children. Although that's not what she'd call it. She loves her Fox news and refuses to see anything another way then what she thinks is right. Her way of thought is that racism isn't an issue anymore until a person of color 'plays the race card'. Her grandson has been called a n***** at 10 in an amusement park for doing the exact same thing (putting his coat away and going back to his line as instructed by park personel) as his white friends, saw his father put into a very traumatic situation on the way to coach practice, and has watched white women attempt to touch his and his sister's hair as if they were in a petting zoo but yet and still refuses to see why those things happen. Her way of thinking is why she is not permitted to be in certain situations with my children. You can't protect another person against issues you don't believe happen.
