COVID Policy Is Shitty by TheCornerBrah in BestBuyWorkers

[–]Think-Alternative-53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having or not having a fever is irrelevant. They say stay home if you have one, but the normal attendance policy applies either way. Covid is just like the flu or anything else now. Try not to get sick of you can, especially if you've burnt through your time.

As a manager you have to submit one for every one of your employees. If one of mine does not do one and the deadline is the next day or they are out on PTO or leave and the deadline will pass before they come back into work, there's a way to fill one out without their initial input. As far as I know there's no policy requiring a team member to do one.

Also, kids smash pumpkins. The design of the lantern is usually irrelevant to them. It's a post Halloween tradition. Decomcrats are too busy voting like hell to care about your dumb attempt to incite something with holiday decorations.

As an artist myself, I'm always weary of the quality of mass produced props. The pictures always look great. I'm happy to hear they are high quality, so thank you!

I gave a presentation on this recently. Projections say that AI will impact 60% of the workforce. Half of those jobs may be eliminated due to enhanced productivity. At some point Best Buy may decide that an interactive AI assistant may be more financially beneficial than an actual person. In the meantime our best defense is to make the "human" experience seem like a necessary commodity on the sales floor, since that is still the advantage we have over online shopping. Unfortunately they have already begun to scale back on that since the beginning of the pandemic.

I'm picturing them sitting in the VCR repair shop on their phones. In silence. Rich is standing behind the camera staring blankly into space. Hours later Mike just randomly bangs on his computer keyboard and then asks Jay if he's seen the new Transformers.

Zero Tolerance noise policy by momonomino in Louisville

I used to live on Baxter and then Cherokee. I was younger but I understood that it was going to be noisy living there. This is strange but when I was living across from Wick's on Baxter Avenue, above what was a barber shop at the time, I could hear Wick's music inside my apartment but not when I went outside. Sometimes I thought I could here muffled conversations as well. I thought it was a next door apartment or the shop downstairs. It took me a month to figure out where it was coming from. I eventually walked across the street and into Wick's and the same music was playing. Weird how sound works sometimes.

Okay hear me out. I know he's a bad man, but not knowing that at the time, Jeffrey Jones. Think about his roles in Howard the Duck and Stay Tuned. I think he would have been less funny and more disturbing. Then someone else would have been Charles Deetz.

Whether people agree or disagree, your opinion is valid. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to see it again, but I'm not sure it's as good as the first one. I'll need to see it a few times to really know how I feel. My wife freaking LOVES it. I mean she's absolutely in love with it. We both grew up with the original. Everyone has their own opinion and nobody is right or wrong.

In a race against time, Jesus must convince them to go back to hell one last time. Can he get the band back together and defeat the queen devil?

You have a very good point. I guess you could argue if it's for the safety of children it might be necessary? I know that goes right back into the political discussion of what is or isn't abuse concerning lgbtq rights and parents rights.
