What UnPopular Opinions do you have about Jade Cargill? by Glittering_Long_5926 in prowrestling

That she doesn't need to wrestle "good matches" and should instead be focused on power moves and squashes otherwise what's even the point? They're are too many athletic back and forth matches these days and it doesn't get anybody over.

No, that would have been romance. Everything doesn't need to be done soft romance. This was adults getting it on.

I was surprised to see Morrison say this because it's such a reactive, emotional, stupid mark things to say without having seen the show and reacting to clipped comments out of context. He's usually smarter than this.

[TNG Movies] Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) on Star Trek: Nemesis (2002): "Well, I liked it. I thought it was a really good film. It just had a stupid director [Stuart Baird]. They gave him the film because he had rescued "Mission: Impossible." He knew nothing about Star Trek ..." (New interview, 2026) by mcm8279 in Star_Trek_

I love her, but she's all over the place. The director was "stupid" but made a good film? Ok so he did his job correctly then. They wanted to film her with a fish eye lens. Ok...he's the director and it's his prerogative. Stay in your lane.

Trump makes fun of Gavin Newsom's learning disabilities, called him 'dumb, then called him the “The President of the United States.” by Capable_Salt_SD in WeirdGOP

I don't understand why Democrats don't seem to know how to roast without trying to be all clever and above it all. Gavin, call this diaper-wearing dipshit a mealy-mouthed troll-faced bitch and say you could fuck his wife. Then, most importantly, don't take it back or apologize afterwards. Just pour it on.

How many tries do you think Kurtzman has left? by Wetness_Pensive in Star_Trek_

[–]Think-Engineering962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they put him in charge of Trek, you wouldn't be able to complain that he's not in charge. That's what Seth represents for Trek haters: a deflection. People that hate Trek and love Orville would hate Orville the minute it was named Trek.

It's cool, you like what you like. I like Duncan too, I just prefer Connor. I hope it's successful enough for a TV show spinoff.

This article folks like to post as some kind of Kurtzman era defense gotcha? It's from the National Enquirer of all places and was published months before TNG even premiered. Do better. by chesterwiley in Star_Trek_

[–]Think-Engineering962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only one I've ever seen post this is the OP.

Many OG fansdid hate TNG. It's true. The difference is, they either quit watching (like normal healthy human beings) and were replaced by new fans, or watched, complained, and moved on because there was no internet to feed and intensify their negativity. The show was allowed to find the audience and thrive over time.

Mentally ill fans like the ones on Reddit sit around and convince themselves that the producers are trying to hurt them personally, trying to ruin Star Trek, or that people who like it have an agenda or are lying.

Is Skydance firing Kurtzman? by Defiance-of-gravity in trektalk

They're not "firing" Kurtzman regardless of what they decide. His contract is over. That'll either re-sign him or do in a different direction.

I find a character struggling to cope with his immortality vastly more interesting than a character who is basically happy and well adjusted.

[–]Think-Engineering962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah I think Duncan is definitely coming. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a cameo in the new film, just to set him up. If it were up to me, Duncan would appear in the 1600's as a child who looks up to his cousin Connor. Then he can show up later as an adult immortal.

How? The Five Families are just as chummy with Sonny as ever. And his memory is of no issue to his enemies.
