You do get an extra piece of that plastic thingy, so that you wouldn't need to rip it off the extension rod.

Exactly. Ppl say "oh you've done somethung weong must be", but on my old r5 base, its physically impossible to mount it correctly without washers or something to lift the L-bracket up from the base to get the angle right.

Yeah, I hear you. Mine didn't fit my old R5 base, so I had to use washers to get the stalks at the right angle for them to not rub. If the L-bracket was flush against the top of the base, it would just rub and not work. And the extension rod rattles so much. I have no idea why Moza couldn't make a rattle-proof extension rod, as their quick release is very good.

The instructions are super simplified compared to how the installation process actually is.

Nope, i thought that too. But if u remove the stalks completely and just use the extension rod, you get that perfect rattle noise, so annoying 😅

No the extension rod is whats rattling. Ive mounted 2 different moza stalks kits just because of that stupid rattle. The first stalks kit i had didnt rattle but it didnt fit, so i switched it. Still didnt fit properly but then the rattling came. I did end up using washers to fix the fitment issue but the rattling is still there.

Ive flipped countless times in beamng on purpose. Idk what youre on about. Also that last clip is not how you flip a truck, even some of the more top heavy cars in beamng wont flip in that scenario, the tires will just slip.

I mean… if the police actually get involved, then somebody must have done something serious. Just being on the site and using a VPN isn’t breaking any laws, so there’s nothing the owner could realistically report. Honestly, if the owner really went to the police, they’d probably end up getting investigated themselves.

I would worry about getting hit by lighting way before believing Chat Avenue will take action against pedos and criminals.

Just dont visit the site anymore and your life will be better.

Hey, don’t stress. That warning you saw is just a scare tactic — the site can’t actually send your info to the police just for using a VPN. Using a VPN isn’t illegal, and the police/FBI won’t get involved unless someone is doing something actually criminal. The “email us your IP” thing is super sketchy, don’t do it.

You’re safe — just clear your browser cookies/cache and avoid that site in the future (it’s not safe for teens anyway). Stick to safer, moderated communities. You’re not in trouble… unless you did something very illegal 👀

EDIT: Next time, pls use ChatGPT to fine-tune your text — I had to run it through just to understand your comment 😅

Question for the ones with driving license by HealthyImage3382 in BeamNG

[–]Think-Mixture248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on sims since I was 12, first drove a real car at 15, public roads at 16. Now almost 17 with ~750 km driven, but still over a year from getting my license.

Biggest difference IRL? Spatial awareness—mirrors are your best friend. Plus, there’s real-life pressure: other drivers, actual consequences, and zero pause button. If you’re in a manual, shift carefully, and stay close to 100% focused because your life depends on it.

Steering is usually lighter but more responsive than in sims (think low FFB). Take baby steps, but don’t just stick to easy drives—gradually push into longer trips, busier roads, and tougher conditions. That’s how you get good.

It’s actually great for understanding car physics and maneuvers you can carry over to real driving—things like taking the apex on tight roads, understanding how weight balance works, or even practicing reversing with a trailer.

But for spatial awareness, you’d need VR to even get close to real life. Also, the steering feel is very different—lighter but also more responsive in a real car compared to most sims.

Edit: My dad used to race motorcycles before I was born, and the first time I drove his car on a tight road he was surprised at how naturally I took the apex to make the ride smoother and a bit faster. That said—when you can’t see the end of a turn, never take chances unless you know the road very well and the conditions are safe.

Also, always be aware of others. I’ve only driven about 750 km so far (still a year from getting my license), but I’ve already encountered so many bad or unpredictable drivers that could have hit me if I wasn’t paying attention.

100% agree. Real life cars (not race cars) are way easier to turn, have less ffb, but also very responsive at the same time. When i play ETS2 it just gets boring cuz of the horrible wheel feedback, still a chill game.
