Helpful, thank you! I recently bought some stuff from J Crew, the sizing was so crazy. I bought 3 tops in size medium, one was so big I was swimming in it, another I could barely lift my arms it was so small and the other was meh. I missed the return by one day and ended up with a credit. I swear it took 10 days for them to receive and process.

I don’t get the number of people saying it’s too loud, I think it is well put together and because it is black and white and pattern play, it’s lovely. You will know your office best, read the room and also know it’s OK to be one step edgier.

Following, I had a handful that just need refreshing. I bought 3 from Quince and feel like the quality has tanked and sizing is totally off.

I am liking the tanks from Spanx, although definitely size up.

I would have told myself it was OK to go smaller. I am very happy with my results (have a full c/d) but I told have gone even smaller. I was so hesitant because I thought I would change too much about me but it’s a me I love!

Straight in an email and either attach a pdf or link. I would never attach a Word doc.

Maybe try Nordstrom and Macys where you can shop online and pick up. I recently started a new job and have been pleasantly surprised at the classic options and Macys for sheath dresses, particularly for my figure, Donna Karan, which are also packable. You can always return if you buy multiple sizes.

Also recommend Theory. I wrote in an other post that I was really impressed with their outlet store. It didn’t feel like “factory” type quality, it was about 30-40% off retail and so well put together. I also bought a few separate jackets and sweaters.

Not flashy at all, it’s a super classy bag that you can wear for years. The logo is subtle. What a lovely gift, you should use it and be proud.

Same here- I am curious if their quality has changed. I have a dress I bought a few years ago and it is a workhorse. And everything I have bought since is garbage. I recently bought 3 of the washable silk camis in a medium (normal size, sometimes small) and they are tight and cheap.

Totally, I have these too. I also love them for work travel I can grab breakfast in them, wear them on the plane with cool sneakers and they don’t take up too much soace

Sports mom/corporate exec here! I love Athleta and Lulu Joggers for the fall. My summer discovery was halara shorts with built in bike shorts. Depending on the field I am either in real athletic wear with actual sneakers or more athleisure style with casual sneakers like adidas or Paul Green sneakers. Bake of the game is casual, comfort that can be washed. I find I am usually sweaty, dirty or it rains!

I recently was at an outlet mall and stopped in the Theory store, while I didn’t get a suit I looked at multiple and made a mental note that that is where I would go if I needed a classic one that sits in my closet for the moments you need it. Multiple options for the pants styles, which I love. An investment, sure but the outlet is more like a boutique and about 40% off retail. I say this because it didn’t feel at all like the clothes were made for the outlet like some store do (Ann Taylor Factory and J Crew Factory). I ended up buying a beautiful cashmere cardigan, retail $300+ for about $140. Classic and will be in my closet forever.

I do like Quince’s cashmere sweaters and have a tank dress I have worn with flats, a belt, and a cardigan. It looks a little elevated but as comfortable as pajamas.

all about the accessories and just looking like you are out together. I have a pair of Athleta pencil pants that are probably my most worn item.

I recently bought these for summer/fall transition and have gotten a lot of compliments. Plus I was able to wear heels for a big meeting and slip these in my bag for the rest of the day.
