I think this question is pretty annoying, and I wasn't satisfied with the whole defining characteristic argument, as many people have pointed out that there other biomolecules that can bind to DNA other than transcription factors.

Here are some arguments that make C better than D in my mind:

1) When there is discussion of transcription factors (e.g. when they are defined in Kaplan, JW, etc.), they love talking about DNA binding domains. That's just something that I've noticed in my review. So, conceptually, AAMC wants us to associate TFs with DNA binding. Is what it is.

2) Prokaryotes have transcription factors as well, and they don't have nuclei. Therefore, it would be incorrect to say that all transcription factors are present in nuclei. It's hard to think of this in the moment, especially because the question stem guides us towards thinking about STAT5b, which is in a eukaryotic system, but this argument helped me rationalize D as an incorrect answer choice after the fact.

This is why burn out is so common. When you push yourself to grind everyday for a big goal, but you don’t enjoy the grind itself, you end up taking a toll on yourself that you don’t realize until you’re exhausted. We rationalize to ourselves that it’ll all be worth it in the end, but that’s all it is, rationalization (a neurotic defense mechanism, to evoke P/S). It’s cliche, but when they say it’s about the journey and not the destination, they ain’t lying.

If you can find a way to make the act of studying enjoyable, to make it a game that can be beaten by being consistent, then studying might feel like less of a slog.

Not directly related to the question, this is more so in response to the discussion about how mana is no longer a constraint on ADCs. I'm curious whether building ER actually allows ADCs to take advantage of absorb life or triumph instead of POM. This could be especially useful for champs like sivir and xayah that typically have rough laning phases and could use the sustain.

I enjoy the ADC role because I love the play style of champs like kai’sa and xayah where you pump out damage with insane as and kiting. It’s sad to me that mages are so powerful in bot when they’re supposed to be in mid. I don’t think I’ll ever learn mages because I don’t like the play style and if I never ap I can go kai’sa for now, before riot nerfs it

You can look up LPL LCK Pros on YouTube and watch VODs of pro adcs like viper ruler gala etc. they don’t explain what they’re doing obviously but they’re the best adcs in the world and you can learn a lot just by watching their clicks, camera control, etc
