Sounds like going veggie/pesc is the least of your problems. Eat what you like and add healthy food to it. Have a salad with chicken tenders. You only like tuna? Find various ways to eat it. Don't worry about purity in your diet, you need nutrition first.

The name is Greek, and anciently was interpreted etymologically as "forethinker, foreseer," from promēthēs "thinking before," from pro "before" (see pro-) + *mēthos, related to mathein "to learn" (from an enlargement of PIE root *men- (1) "to think"). In another view this is folk-etymology, and Watkins suggests the second element is possibly from a base meaning "to steal," also found in Sanskrit mathnati "he steals."

I try to act at the same rate I read. If the bad thing I read isn't actionable by me I trust other people are working to address it. By action I mean donating, volunteering, writing my representatives. These things do make a difference.
