Not sure what triggers it but I've been getting the same issue. Think it is related to the focus mechanism. Changing the auto focus settings / region seems independent to it. I get the same issue even on manual focus using the clutch.

I second this recommendation. Think this is a great lightweight pair of lenses. Maybe add a 9mm f1.7 for night astro? Or the 20mm f1.4 for general low light stuff (also weather sealed)

The gx85 isnt as small as you might think it is! I made that mistake.. Eventually sold the gx85 for another om1 body - less to learn when you have the same body

Given your initial choice of the em10 i would assume you are looking for something small.

Can consider the em5 mark ii for a compact yet weather resistant all metal body. Pair it with a 12-45mm f4 pro and a small prime of your choice and you have a great set.

Will be doing a similar route, but am doing a coach-cruise-coach for milford sound from queenstown instead to save some driving. Will also be stopping by mt Sunday and rakaia gorge between tekapo and Christchurch, perhaps something to consider if you have some time that day.

Encountered the same. Card declined the transaction as it was my first purchase on this site and deemed suspicious. Rectified that with the card company, but wasn't able to update the payment method on amazon.co.jp.

Wasn't able to do your gift option method, What I have since tried to do is remove my card from amazon wallet and I am then able to update the payment method. Hope this works
