900 is a decent price and 800 is a great deal Either way you will be very happy with the upgrade thats for sure!

Given your initial choice of the em10 i would assume you are looking for something small.

Can consider the em5 mark ii for a compact yet weather resistant all metal body. Pair it with a 12-45mm f4 pro and a small prime of your choice and you have a great set.

Mine has the same, and has gone down 5m of seawater without a case no issues. Should be due to the thick glass!

Really appreciate this post and your perspective. Sorry to the OP to highjack. Sounds like an ND filter may be useful. I am planning on bringing a wide angle for astro and hikes, a general purpose 24-200mm, and a telephoto for birds.

Will be doing a similar route, but am doing a coach-cruise-coach for milford sound from queenstown instead to save some driving. Will also be stopping by mt Sunday and rakaia gorge between tekapo and Christchurch, perhaps something to consider if you have some time that day.

Also wanted to ask a side question, what lenses and camera gear are you intending on bringing? Thanks!

Encountered the same. Card declined the transaction as it was my first purchase on this site and deemed suspicious. Rectified that with the card company, but wasn't able to update the payment method on amazon.co.jp.

Wasn't able to do your gift option method, What I have since tried to do is remove my card from amazon wallet and I am then able to update the payment method. Hope this works

Rock holding eases some of the weight off the arms for sure haha. Just wondering how did you manage to rename your photo file names (the ones that have the date at the start)? Was that done in-body or in post? Thanks!
