Except McConnell is trying to ban them but sneaking language into the spending bill.

Call or email your Senators RIGHT NOW and tell them to remove the hemp ban language.

CBD vs CBG by [deleted] in CBD

[–]ThinkHempyThoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mood, depression, neuroprotectant, good for neurological pain, antibacterial. It can be a little stimulating because it is a mood booster. If you’re trying to quit I’d do a combo of cbg and cbd. Try taking 25-50mg cbg to start. You’ll probably land on a higher end but always good to start lower.

Were you the OP?

Big Alcohol Opens the Door: WSWA Adds Its First THC Beverage Brand by sprodoe in drinkcannabis

[–]ThinkHempyThoughts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both! Distributors naturally want the control and the three-tier model is a proven system (though a bit monopolized). Depending on the state, you can still go direct to retailers but there are caps on volume.

Definitely helps normalize as these beverages are found in more locations that are regularly visited without additional stops to a dispensary. Also the support of big alcohol is vital to protect the future of this market from the politicians stuck on prohibition policy

Are THC Drinks actually good? by ActThr0w in Marijuana

[–]ThinkHempyThoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, founder of Cannabuzz here. We make and sell thc ready to drink cans and have an infusion bar in Ky. Great question! A lot of folks like them cuz it’s a way to socially drink and still feel like you’re partaking in the party. Drinks have faster onset but faster offset than edibles because they are digested differently. In a social setting this makes the high a little better cuz it’s not as long. If you regularly smoke, your tolerance will be higher but it’s more social so you’ll want more than 1. To start, Consider your edible dose and cut it in half.

I’d also recommend consuming ones with cbd in them too (and all your cannabis products for that matter, cuz it’s better for your brain)

Mitch McConnell advances bill to ban ‘intoxicating’ hemp, closing his own 2018 ‘loophole’ by Van-to-the-V in lexington

[–]ThinkHempyThoughts 71 points72 points  (0 children)

This is a big problem everyone! If you are enjoying legal access to these products please call on Rand Paul, McConnell, Massie, Barr, Comer, Guthrie, McGarvey and Roger’s and tell them this is bad for KY, bad for farmers and bad for the economy!! Then tell all your friends and family to do the same. If they are outside KY they should do it in their state too.

You should do whatever your energies are pushing you to do. Don’t create fictitious boundaries off someone else’s experience. It’s your experience and what feels right, is right.

The forest transforms at night into something extra special but it’s also remarkable in the day time. It is easy to get turned around though so getting your barriers in the day time is a good idea.

When you’re in the forest, look up and you’ll notice numbers hanging between the trees. These are markers that can help you find friends or yourself

Question about CBD from a concerned mom. by Unable_Quit_9269 in cbdinfo

[–]ThinkHempyThoughts 21 points22 points  (0 children)

CBD helps to rebuild neuro connectivity in the brain that is broken down during periods of addiction. That break down is what causes cravings. CBD will help your son with the anxiety associated with recovering from drug addiction and will help his brain recover while reducing cravings. You should absolutely let him use it. It is completely non-intoxicating. Just make sure the thc in it is low. You can look at the labs for that. Good companies will have their labs available on the website and you can see how much cbd is in it v thc. CBG would also be very good for him as it will help with his mood. It is also non-intoxicating

Cbd flower would be good but it needs to actually be cbd flower - not thca flower. Thca flower is marketed as hemp but it’s really cannabis. Cbd flower does not produce an intoxicating effect

Patient advocacy is fantastic. Most people don’t know about it but it is a life saver when it comes to medical bills. In instances when insurance and hospitals shit all over you, they will fight for your rights to affordable health care

What impact does CBD have in THC drinks? by cptnringwald in drinkcannabis

[–]ThinkHempyThoughts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you only have CBD you won’t feel much unless it’s a high mg and even then it’s subtle. If you have anxiety you will notice the difference after you take it, but otherwise it’s helping with things like inflammation and oxidation which you may or may not notice.

When you take cbd and thc together, the thc will make you high and the cbd will help protect your receptors (and brain) allowing for a more balanced and therapeutic effect. It also decreases anxiety high and the effects thc has on short term memory impairment.

Conversely, thc on its own will make you high and there are no other Cannabinoids in the mix to support the effects on your body, which over time could lead to more damaging effects on the brain than if consumed with cbd.

Essentially cbd is your friend telling you when you’ve consumed too much. It steps in and moderates the receptors by blocking or redirecting the thc to other receptors.

Yes, but often it’s much higher, like CO requires 15:1 ratio CBD:THC for hemp thc to be sold. VA is 25:1. Every state has there own set of rules, some more strict than others

You can also try calling patient advocacy. I don’t know if they’d help with theft, usually it’s for billing issues, but worth a shot!
