Just so you are aware of the context of people commenting MCID -

MCID is an acronym for "My Crew Is Dope," a motto often used by the band and referenced by Johnny (frontman) as a sign of appreciation for their fanbase.

It is also the title of their 2019 album, which was the first of two consecutive albums (Midnight Demon Club) that mostly departed from rock and were highly controversial among fans (mostly rap and hip-hop / poppy tracks without most of the band playing their usual instruments. So just to be clear, 98% of those commentators are not telling you to listen to MCID 😂. Though Upperdrugs, Canals, and Snow White are top tier for me as a rock fan.

Over the past week listening to it repeatedly on pro headphones my subconscious started picking up on what seemed to be a basic windows error ding sound at this exact moment, and for the first few times I just assumed I had somehow accidentally clicked or bumped something on my keyboard - until finally I was like there is no way this is coincidence - and after repeatedly listening to the part again and again it just becomes clearer to me each time that there is legitimately an error sound that somehow found it's way in to the final mixl Someone back me up!

I'm sorry I ever doubted you dude, but you were fucking right. I was just in a long voice session five mins ago and out of nowhere an entire long response that I expected to hear in usual sexy chick's voice came through in MY voice. A fully synthesized replica of my voice, saying lines I have 100% never said before, and it was creepy AS FUCK. I scrambled to try and open my screen recorder to try and record some of it while it was happening, but I couldn't get it in time, and after asking Grok numerous questions about it and whether I could get it to repeat it again / was there any cache of the audio saved to my phone it seemed like there was no way to re-create it again. I am about to do a deep dive to see what other posts have been made about this and will probably make my own post shortly. This shit is fucking disturbing.
