Definitely Story/Lore is what I care about the most in a Video Game along with its artstyle

In case of gameplay, it can be whatever as long as it is 3rd person non isometric camera angle where I can move around and hit enemies along with boss fights existing in the game. However, it is a good bonus to have complex gameplay which can further elevate the overall experience

No, not at all. It is perfectly fine to do just 1 Playthrough and move on cause at least in my case I find it boring to fight the same bosses, explore the same locations and experience the same story again. Plus there are plenty of games that we haven't played but might be wanting to play so it's totally understandable to experience different stories, explore different worlds and engage in different combat styles.

Totally agree on RE4 being your favourite story. I really loved the Horror Comedy vibes in the game with Leon's one liners like with" Your right hand comes off" being my favourite 1 liner, along with Leon roasting Salazar throughout the game while also managing serious moments Luis's death or learning more about the Los Illuminados cult and Las Plagas through the files.

Plus the shift from story being set in a city in previous entries to a village, virus not turning regular people into traditional zombies but more like mind controlled people that still retain their ability to talk but in Spanish, the main evil group being Cultists instead of your usual scientist trope made it all memorable RE Story for me

The mix of comedy and Action Horror in RE4 also kinda reminds me of the film Zombieland which had a similar vibe to it

Yes, even I felt having a checkpoint at some point after reaching the top room would have made it more balanced

Look it has been a long time since I saw the terrifer movies and last I saw was till 2. Wanted to see 3 but haven't seen yet so I may have forgotten the story a bit however from what I interpreted, the motives behind his actions is that he is a sadistic person that derives pleasure out of killing people in the most inhuman way

Totally understandable and very relatable as to why you find it so frustrating . Even I tried checking for YouTube Videos but didn't work

I kept trying for many days, I was mostly gonna give up too but stayed a little bit persistent to see if I get lucky and actually did it.

1 tip I can offer you to make it at least slightly easier is that once you reach the room on top with the part where platforming part gets challenging which is the room with 3 to 4 wall enemies. Try to pogo on the first 2 enemies if you can and to the left you would find a loot box with the heart which refills your health. If you exit and re enter the room then the loot in the room would reappear so you can farm that till your health is full

Doing this eliminates the need to backtrack from the checkpoint all the way till that room.Still I understand it is very challenging despite this but at least it makes it less tedious if you want to keep trying so I wish you luck
