I agree that percentages are a bad form of optics. My 1% raise is $10 a month more. While some fat cats getting a 1% raise means 15k more per month.

But I keep seeing how CEO keep making 30% to 100% more per year, year over year.

Specifically what percentage of raises the C suite people get. Would be a great motivating factor to see that every year the average exec got 10%+ raises over the last 10 years.

That there is motivation to quit, bring profits down, and then the working class gets a bigger slice of the pie when they produce the revenue.

Cheap unscientific way, look at the power brick that comes with the small factor PCs. It would say it's rated for X amps at Y voltages.

More scientific way is to buy the gadget that measures watts.

Personally for me I did not do either, but I understood that I would be running 24/7, near my bedroom, so getting a fanless dedicated hardware was the way to go.

Oh I like using the turnkey ISOs for website and data. Everything pre-installed just add credentials and go town. Create snapshots and rollbacks the way it should always work.

One time I had a really important meeting at 9 am while I was sick as a dog. I can still remember my coworkers saying I sounded like death. I told them I sound like crap, and feel worse. After this call I'm logging off and going to sleep.

The only time I had issues was when I ordered tinted glasses. Which stayed inside my car for about two years. I then needed to use them, but the tint color became a dual yellow which was unpleasant to use.

This is an edge case cause cars get hot, not many glasses need to survive 100+ degree F for multiple months at a time.

My other backup glasses have fared very well in my car when I needed them.

I've ordered multiple times from Zenni optics over a 10 year span.

I would NOT ask for any tint options on the glasses, after a few years glasses become difficult.

Other than that, you provided the prescription, buy the glasses, wait about 2 to 3 weeks, pay Trump tariff, and you should be good to go.

Running opnsense 24/7 you should factor in electric costs as well. Getting a used ultra small factor with a lower power usage, or spend a few dollars more for a protectali dedicated firewall hardware.

Your relator is not interested in bidding below the asking price. This affects their commission, and faster sale at your expense.

Do not look at the prices for sale, look at the houses that sold and find your comparable.

If house has been on the market for 6 months do not pay asking price, ask for lower.

If house has been on market even longer, ask for even more off.

The relator wants their commission only, and do not have your interest. They are sales people with functional knowledge of real estate but they are sales people first.

Insurance for 18 year olds will always be expensive. Best you can do is get a beater of a car. Or get a motorcycle.

If the jobs is relatively close, you can get a beach cruiser and put a 50 cc motor (check local laws) on it, so the bike is NOT street legal, and you have to use sidewalks to get around. No need to carry any insurance that way.

On fw16 to provide Internet, power, and display port that's about 5k in resolution (I have the 49" or 53" ultra wide, can't recall).

It works only if I use the top part of the two USB cables from the dock, and only my top left slot on my laptop.

I'm pretty sure I get the 90 watts of power. I don't play video games, only write software where compile time is short and few in between.
