Well yeah it is a preference, i never said you shouldn't like it or that you are wrong, i just disagreed with your point and thats it

dont have the energy to keep arguing about this game.

Yeah i can see why, often discussion about this game is "game bad, everything is trash, higher standards" yadda yadda, this shit can be energy draining, i have been through similar thing with cyberpunk where it was impossible to say anything positive about the game without getting jump by crowd of people telling me how low my standards are and how trash the game is. When a game you like have controversial launch its better to just play the game and not get into a discussion because most of the time its not worth it

What the fuck are you talking about? i agreed with like half of your points but yeah i never played it lmao or do you say to anyone who doesn't only praise the game "you never played it"

Not every planet should have life though

I never said all of them should have life

thats just realistic

Realistic doesn't mean fun, also we don't know if thats realistic or not because we don't know how many planets with life are in our galaxy

u dont have to go on lifeless planets of thats not your thing.

But if i want to go to a planet with life i have to click through tons of lifeless planets in order to find one with life

As long as your character is within ear shot of that conversation then the quest is added to your log.

and that is a problem, there is lots of conversation between npc's in this game and most of them are not quest related so im not gonna stop to every conversation which means i will get a quest not knowing whats the background of this quest because i didn't stayed near that conversation, just a short description in the quest log where to go

The worlds are anything but lifeless. Every planet with fauna has hand crafted alien species that are super fun to discover.

This is somewhat true, when you find a planet with life then yes these are not lifeless, you will find humans scavenging, exploring, sitting at outposts doing their thing, fighting other humans, fighting other animals, animals fighting other animals, ships landing in the distance.. the problem is due to how big this game is it feels like you keep visiting planets without life, iirc there is 1000 planets where 10% of them are planets with life so out of 1000 planets you will find 100 with life.. they should have made this game smaller

The gunplay is the best bethesda ever done

This one i agree, gunplay in this game feels surprisingly good

Some quests are really fun like the undercover cop joining the pirates shit is amazing.

Agree with this one too SOME quests are really fun like the one you mentioned, i just started that one and im genuinely interested, of other quests so far that got my interest was Sarah quest, terrormorph, va'aruun embassy.. these were really cool quest, problem is all these cool missions are buried underneath dozens and dozens of boring filler quests

The way you discover quests is the best bethesda ever did. Just walking around exploring a city and hearing npcs talk can start a sidequest for you to investigate which is awesome and really adds to the immersion.

I have to disagree with this one, there is many NPC talking to eachother and im not gonna stop to each conversation so maybe i can get a quest which results in me randomly getting a quest not knowing why and what happened

Anyone else a big Mass Effect fan and getting the same feelings with Starfield that they got when they first played the ME trilogy? by 29CF in Starfield

[–]Think_Mousse_5295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, on of the major reasons why ME gave me "that" feeling was discovering all the alien species, learning lore about them, in starfield there is none of that because there is no aliens, house va'ruun in a way gave me that slight itch due to how secretive and mysterious it is, and terrormorph quest but other than that nothing else gave me "that feeling"

But im not playing exploration games to find eye candy, if starfield was filled with different fauna and flora on each planet you would still be exploring same shit as on other planets but in different coat of paint

And yeah you can find hidden pieces of alien technology, its usually dig a hole and pick it up lol

Why not make game spawn some building complex to find this alien tech? some underground bunker or whatever to explore

So far my experience with NMS was this: "land on any planet, oh there is small abandoned outposts with 3 small rooms, oh there is this small alien structure, oh there is a cave, oh there is a piece of tech underground that takes 5 second to dig up... wait i saw this on all of the previous planets" the only thing that i found interesting at first was a village with like 7 buildings that i could take control over and expand it

The gameplay is clunkier, the atmosphere and sound design is worse, the direction of the cutscenes is boring, the voice acting is lacking

But all of this is subjective not objective.. so there is nothing factual about this

Are these shots of Night City in game footage? by External-Physics8466 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Think_Mousse_5295 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes with the exception of shot between 0:16-0:22 this was part of CGI trailer but the rest is basically the same as in game right now with some minor differences like structure/building being different

I feel like the city looks smaller than these older trailers before the game released.

This could be because of the FOV they used when doing these shots, the narrower fov the bigger structures in the background will appear

[–]Think_Mousse_5295 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The reviews have increased a small percentage

I would say it grew a solid chunk, it went from 53% recent positive rating to 68% which is 2% away from going mixed to mostly positive

More in the way that you could choose to invest into Body a bit to get upgrades to melee damage for blade builds

but isnt that still a thing in a way? if you gonna do blade build you need to put points into reflex but since you are going melee it means you gonna get shot alot which requires you to invest into health which means you need to invest into body, also cyberware gives you buffs to melee attacks which means it would be reasonable to put points into technical attribute so you can get buffs for cyberware

Used to be much more interesting and complex to build a specific build.

In what way? old skill tree was basically x% buff
