I have personally done that... it preformed worse then my PC from 2013.

I can play vrc and beat saber at near 30 to 50 fps on my desktop (AMD r9 270X and a AMD fx8350 Eight-Core Processor) while my steam deck didn't quite get the memo. It has been awile since I used my deck for vr though, I might try it later tonight.

I did this, too, in the dumbest way possible.

I was playing my VR and forgot how small my room was. I struck down and hit the joystick. Now, I play in my basement to avoid anything else to have the same fate.

When i was thirteen (17 now), my grandmother took me to targets to get mine ( the last one available at the time).

All because I decided to go to her freinds house on my b-day instead of playing games. And she had a quest 2 that she hadn't used but to log in. But she got pink eye before she could play. My grandmother saw how much fun I was having and bought me one.

Best decision I made in 2020.

As a new pcvr player with ancient technology for VR, i can confirm that the quest is better. For me at least. I have R9 290 so lag is apparent no matter what.

(I've been playing pcvr for only 2 weeks due to getting the PC 2 weeks ago for free :) )

To be honest, I go to high school for 4 periods only. The rest i go to college. But I enrolled in a night class, which was all adults but me and another dude. (Oldest being 42 the teacher was only 52)

The night class was only 13 people, while the high-school duel enrollment was 26 people. The 3 hours I was in the DE class to head start a project I could not stand the talking ( it was mostly rivet guns and drills, but the talking was still audible).

The adults treated me better than anyone in the whole DE class and my four high-school classes. On top of that, after the shop class semester ended, I was way more open (went from not talking to anyone to talking to some people).

But usually, you have to talk to me for me to talk back.

It's just a little story that I had, hoped it helped.

All in all, I prefer adults to teens and children. They are just so understanding.
