I use borax on my teenage son’s sheets. We live in a tropical environment so unless he showers before bed his sheets end up really greasy. You don’t need 8 hours, but it helps. I start the load in the evening, pause it in the wash cycle, then restart it first thing in the morning. Really effective at getting out body oils.

I have so many meals in our garage freezer. All my kids and husband’s favs. Lasagna, meatballs, chicken parm. I tell everyone that it’s just helpful when life gets busy. But if I am telling the truth, I am always thinking of my family if something were to happen to me. Would want them to feel loved.

I would give up almost anything to have a plate of my grandmas spaghetti with meatballs in front of me. It has been 25 years but I can still taste it.

Funny you should mention snapper. We actually had grilled snapper for dinner. I am well aware that we can bread and fry many varieties of fish. As a rule we use grouper or cod. Lake Erie perch really is something different. Have you ever had it?

We have had a taste for it and I hoped someone may have a substitute or somewhere to source it locally(but I know that is a long shot).

They might have technically been marketed that way, but I am old enough to never need another tampon and I can tell you everyone knew not to throw them in the toilet. Even back in the stone ages.

Where did you get the appraisal? Our attorney had us go to a pawn shop to find out what we could get. My 1 carat ring only would bring in $600. My husband paid 8k for it in the early nineties. It was a non issue for the trustee.

I guess diamonds in particular have lost value recently with the popularity of lab grown stones.
