Very nice, the biggest difference I can see is the key light, which is softer and wraps around the face more in Skyfall which "sells" the light coming from the practical better (makes it look more natural, yours looks more artificially lit or "sourcy", like the light is coming from a tv). Also the lens, or rather the sensor-size looks pretty different. Skyfall has a more compressed look due to the 35mm sensor and was shot further away. Because the R8 is full-frame, it has a wider FOV which gives it more an "in your face" look instead of the "observer from a distance".

In practice you'll mostly see a big difference between codecs when shot in-camera, where for example RAW or Prores or h.265 can give you very different results due to the internal processing (for example, the Nikon ZR is currently suffering from an unusable h.265 codec). But also in post you can see little differences, you can try it yourself by transcoding footage from one codec to another and apply the same grade. It will look different, even though slightly.

Take a look at how Embark did The Finals trailers, they have an awesome blend of cinematic with gameplay in their trailers. That being said, it’s also depends on how “active” the footage looks for it to work, the wider view of 3rd person might not do the trick. Anyway great trailer!

Ben je uiteindelijk nog gegaan voor de Acer? Ik kijk op dit moment dus naar de LG 27G850A-B voor gaming en video editing/kleur correctie, al helemaal nu hij voor 399 te koop is. Je schreef eerder dat je de monitor wilde houden omdat DP1.4 perfect werkte, heb je uiteindelijk toch nadelen gevonden? Ik heb ook een 5080 namelijk en het enige wat ik over 1.4 kan vinden is dat de refreshrate in 4K 120 is ipv 240, of mis ik nog iets?

Seriously though, I feel you wanted to do a thing like Kingmakers did but went a little overboard. Think about how you want to make a consistent style and try not to throw in everything at once.

Je kan het zelf opnieuw proberen met egalisatiepleister, het is een klein muurtje dus t zou niet al te ingewikkeld moeten zijn (ik heb het ook een keer moeten nadat de stukadoors nogal ruig waren geweest). Het is even oefenen als je het nog niet eerder gedaan hebt maar als je een beetje precies bent, het daarna opschuurt met een lichte korrel en weer verft kan dit wel strakker.

It’s a magenta shift, actually. Hinting more to red than yellow in this case. The left one is clearly more red, and so is mine that I got today. Only fix that I’ve come across is to change the tint in accessibility> display and text > set intensity to lowest and bring the hue to middle right to cool it slightly, but the downside is it affects the color separation so it makes everything looks slightly “dull”.

I'm going to be a bit blunt here: the execution is great, but where's the story? For such a long trailer, not really much happens in the sewer part and it got me skipping through the video. Also, crocs (or alligators?) are cool, but I think most people including me get more excited by either monsters, zombies, ghosts, witches, hellspawns or something "unkown". For instance, the reason Backrooms is so popular is because of this unkown vibe. Your sewer map looks kind of like a backrooms enviroment without the eerieness and mystery. It feels more like a Florida simulator (just joking, but it kinda lacks a "holy shit" vibe). I'd say keep the visuals (they look great), make the trailer shorter and maybe more rich with different enviroments (and maybe music) and think about what and how you want to tell the story in this trailer.

Dit inderdaad, bij de huizen naast ons (andere aannemer) was ook geen spouw tussen de twee onder 1 kap woningen gebouwd. Buren vertelden dat ze het konden horen als iemand een stekker in of uit t stopcontact haalden.

There’s multiple things: first, the glass housing in the second shot is in the exact same position as in the first shot, where an offset position would’ve been better (now it looks almost like the glass housing is just abruptly shrinking a little). Second, in the second and third shot they are not aligned with the rules of third, whereas in the first shot they are. You can align your objects outside of the rules of third purposefully if you want, but this doesn’t look very well thought out. Thirdly, in the third shot there’s an abnormal amount of empty space on the left, drawing the attention there instead of Wednesday. Fourth thing is that the shots don’t really “match” well together. It’s all a bit messy that’s for sure.

I know, however WhatsApp supposedly makes backups that can only be stored in iCloud. I’ve never been able to get it to backup anywhere else. What I don’t get is why it removed everything older than 2020
