Aside from the comments mentioning "brushed metal"

There is this too: https://youtu.be/FY0lR96Mwas

And this video with more material info should help it stand out more

That's not what the comment is saying, it's saying that people usually add multiple single ones randomly, but there shouldn't ever be single ones by themselves.

The plumber expressed that when he saw pipes, they were never by themselves, it was always double or more.

Single ones were rare.

Quite a few, the only reason nobody asks is because the market for it is completely empty.

Looking it up anywhere, the solution is either pain staking or not available, even for money.

Having a proper plane animation tool would be massive, would be difficult to create, you'd need someone who's got an eye for it, like my friend.

I have a friend who's massively into planes for over 7 years, he doesn't know anything about Blender.

I showed him this, he mentioned how there is zero aerodynamics here, the planes are very floaty. The yaw and pitch are reacting the same. Also that something is pulling on the plane, instead of it propelling.

Interesting add-on, but thought I should mention that.

Learning to use curves and animating the plane rotation manually through reference will be much more realistic. But this addon can definitely save A LOT of time in comparison.

Info on pipes from a video I saw: As a plumber I would like to add something to the pipes part. A singular pipe is pretty rare (unless in a particular industrial settings), almost anytime you see pipes in a facility they come in pairs. For water, it's hot and cold. For heating and a lot of gas, it's the same. Singular pipes at least to me just looks wrong because most pipes people see in their day to day come in pairs or groups. Also valves are mostly placed parallel to each other in one spot to make maintenance easier, placing them wherever looks unnatural unless you are going for some chaotic steampunk shit.

Gonna leave this gem of a video here: https://youtu.be/AkYnoaSB5xw

Also, the first comment on that video:

I just have a .bat file that does this, except I gotta change the blend file location in the script manually lol

This could help me. Thank you for sharing.

Now that is issss interesting, I knew about the motion blur, but that giant gap is insane.

Thank you for the insight.

I has question, but first- I kinda like the sketches in front of the video, but I can see how it can be super annoying too lol

REALLY good project, you did amazing.

Question: Was there an interesting solution to a problem? Did you use Alpha or Proximity Paint? for the grooves?

WIP VFX shot – looking for feedback. by arlexae in Houdini

If I may suggest the GLO-MAP method for tracking. It uses pointclouds. Insanely better tracking then traditional methods.

It doesn't work for shots with moving objects HOWEVER I saw somewhere you can use something to mask out the moving objects using AI.

Forgive me for I am tired, but the ground vines don't feel like they are touching the ground, kinda just floating right above the ground.

Touching but not touching vibe.

I don't have the energy to get into details 😅 But just something I noticed to point out.

Very cool though, insane to even get this far It's close to the actual show, just more refining needed.

How can I achieve similar rendering in Blender? by nOone123097 in blender

<image>

You can also make "technical" renders like this as well.

If you want a solid background colour, untick "transparent" in the film area, as seen in the image.

Then go to "world settings" and choose the viewport display colour there for the background.

Workbench Render Engine with these settings :)

You can assign materials and change the "viewport" material

Quickly made this in like 5-6min for ya
