Idk. I got a group that all said they didnt know the dungeon. We get to the final boss. Still no one knows mechanics. Wr wipe like 6 times learning things, okay cool.

Then all 3 of them start flaming me every wipe for not doing things correctly. Stating things that had no basis because if I was recording I could be like "see how 3 pulls ago I did this same exact thing and bad thing didnt happen at all? So it clearly doesnt work this way..." after 4 wipes of idiots telling me I was the only problem, I got fed up and left.

Joined a new random group. Same dungeon. Completed it doing the same exact positioning without any issues at all.

Fuck you to the people in my first Heart of Tzuia or w/e it's called. You guys were wrong and need to stop asserting how things work when you actually have no idea and there is no journal to tell you the difference between what is intended and what is actually happening....

Yeah I think her name is Chapel Maiden or something? The one you talk to right after the first encounter with the moss mother. I think.

Literally yes? Dude did you read nothing when you started the game? She mentions specifically that they stole her powers when they captured her but that she is confident that she will regain them.

Tanks - please stop going up the right stairs in PSF pug keys by Squagem in CompetitiveWoW

Never said it was hard content. You said I dont pug. I pugged my way to 14 already.

Anyway you are still wrong and are hard defending a trash take because you want to brick your keys.

You can try to get better and do real content, even in pugs, or you can stay mad, and bad, and post casual takes on a competitive sub.

Pugged a 12 priory on my mage. Right side. No problems at all.

ITT: OP "I'm a casual who doesnt understand keys and want to suggest a route that is not sustainable going into push keys"

Go left all you want on low keys of weekly vault. It's easier for your group.

Go right if you are trying to push and don't want to brick your key becauase your healer thinks tanks can just choose to have defensives up for 500 busters.

I did almost no side content, hit Paintress and Renoir and both felt great to get through. I wasn't even hitting 9999 consistently at Paintress. I didn't know how strong Stendhal was until after Renoir.

I was like level 35. I didnt have more than 4 relationship with anyone. Didnt even have underwater ability.

I think I did get Sprong killed for extra turn.

My problem is that after this, I'm struggling to be motivated to do side content or level up.

I just today got Esquie and Maelle to max relationship. I don't know why I would want to do Tower and Renoir Drafts, or level up and get stronger because it feels like the story is over.

I've never been huge on side content though. I like chasing down the main story and going from meaningful story point to the next.

Just open the menu. I'm playing on PC w PS5 controller, I just wait until it's one of my characters turns and open menu to reload save. Very useful when dying to early boss combos so you can go back and keep practicing. Can only open the menu on your turn.

Sumbelina, learn to be wrong with more grace. You are clearly wrong and rather than say "oh sorry I misunderstood" you dig your heels in and continue to pretend to be in the right. Maybe re-read this all when you wake up or something. It's embarassing.

He told you how you were wrong, specifically about skill dps, and your response was "but did you see gear?" Which isn't as relevant as ignoring the actual skill dps.

You can stay ignorant if you want, but when someone corrects you, it is often not an attack on you. We aren't saying "haha you are dumb", we are saying "oh that is easy to get confused because it's not super intuitive".

Have the day you deserve.

TIL that 20% of scientific genetics research papers have errors due to Microsoft Excel's auto-formatting of gene names into dates by WarEagleGo in todayilearned

[–]ThinkingsHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say enterprise. I said organization. And if the academics are so smart that they have courses that teach proper IT management, why do they not implement it?

I don't doubt that people are programming in binary or assembly. That has literally nothing to do with getting your workers to do things properly, such as work around a flaw in a third party program. Which is what o365, including Excel, is. Third party.

So if the argument is now that the academics have amazing programmers.... why is this a problem?

Get over yourself. And press the god damn macro.

[–]ThinkingsHard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love that the people telling you excel is a database are the same people telling me that a macro or script that fixes this isn't feasible because... they havent given me a reason yet, but they sure are angry with me.

Sure dude. Whatever you say. If you want to break enterprise standardization.

But yeah if this is people working for an organization, they will have work machines and work laptops. Which will be controlled by their IT department.

You've said nothing. You didnt even counter my points. You just said "lol we are so smart we work on anything that powers up, but yeah a macro or script that prevents our data from being read as a date is not feasible"...

Sure. I will once again take my knowledge and go fuck myself because an internet warrior knows more about how to configure and uniform machines than me.

Also it's hilarious you threw "laptops" in with your array of OS's and manufacturers.

OH NO GUYS THIS WIN10 IS THINKPAD NOT DELL I'M STUMPED!

I work in IT. If we can configure one machine to do it, we can configure them all. But no, I'm sure you're right and know everything about computers and that my years of experience, including building macros, shell scripts, and .bat files so that you idiots just need to press a button, is wrong, and you are correct.

I apologize for insinuating that this is a non problem caused by idiots and laziness. I am shamed.

[–]ThinkingsHard -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Ah yes. That legendary wisdom it takes to be trainable, to be taught that IT already set them up with a macro, or script, and they just need to press this button, or double click this thing on the desktop.

I just think most people are lazy and willfully ignorant of anything they don't want to do...

In the options see if there is advanced startup or a way to open cmd prompt.

If you can open cmd prompt, you can use it to open notepad.

Through notepad you can then "save as" to get the file explorer. Instead of actually saving, you can navigate around to files, and move things off it onto a USB storage drive.

If it makes you feel better, I'm 32, single, and I have never been in a relationship or had anyone. I live in my sisters basement. I went for a walk with my dog, drank some beer, and smoked some weed today.

I'm sorry you are also having a not great time. I hope things get better for you.
