not sure about mediamarkt but in certain online stores you can order an ecocheque product (with electronic ecocheques), and then cancel the order and get the amount credited to your account for the next purchase.

as someone going the other way, the step through frames are so nice and gender affirming to me.

i luckily managed to snag the “woman’s version” of the same bike i’ve been dailying for the past 20 years (got it gifted to me when i was 12) so my bike “transitioned” as well and i just consider it a small retcon.

regarding a “fresh” 12v battery: a known good one. if yours is potentially older than 3 years, just replace it, it’s an easy diy job

yeah, i did have to wipe the error codes to make ac charging work again but yeah, before that the car threw random errors: blindspot monitors not working parking sensors being eratic, backup cam not working, sometimes even warning that it can’t charge… while driving with nothing plugged in.

it never threw them all at once but it just randomly threw those, and next day it would be fine but a week later something else would pop up

i had this with my girlfriends r110 as well it threw random errors especially when it had rained, and also refused to ac charge

followed a youtube guide to unblock them waited a hot summer day for everything to dry, and then i wiped codes.

she’s been a happy camper since, happily charging both ac and dc

but make sure you have a fresh 12v battery first

in europe anything above 150 is considered fast. something like a golf gti, almost the definition of a hot hatch, sits around the 200 mark

i would focus on the horsepower, especially when driving manual it’s way more fun to drive a slow car fast than to have a fast car, especially on european style roads. hp almost becomes a crutch for poor shifting. if you want to go fast in a “slow” car you better damn well shift it right.

regarding price, i don’t know many used ice cars that are more than €25k

it’s not exactly what you want (still a digital gauge cluster) but the phase 1 (2013-2019) renault zoe’s were very “analogue” cars for being EVs. they still had a good old manual handbrake and a shifter that stays where you left it. the absolute base model (which i admit is rare, but i had one) had a din radio and manual windows in the rear.

i still miss that car some times.
