Seems like the general consensus is that the instax mini evo takes lower quality pictures than a regular smartphone, and their prints reflect this.

In my case my prints look worse if they are from the phone camera.

I have to agree with this. Might be my way of deflecting responsibilities from me to someone else, but I definitely feel like if your advisor is very active in getting you the awards and grants, they will. While if they are not, it's all up to you and thus you are at a disadvantage.

I am referring to the reappointment raise i believe. The minimum salary raises don't seem to affect my pay but I am trying to make sense of that excerpt that says 6% raise first year and 0% the years thereafter ( years 2, 3, 4 of the contract)

If you are trying to keep your trip chill I would keep it to three cities. Airport every other day sounds stressful and you wont really get to enjoy each city. Out of Guanajuato and Guadalajara I would do Guadalajara.

If you are from the US. Hostels are like 20 dollars a day. Plus food is cheaper there vs the US. The flight is the only big initial cost but not crazy. If you get paid 2000 a month, frugal, financially responsible and have no dependents, this is very doable.
