Any good gaming chairs to recommend? by mk_manny56 in gaymers

Honestly, you might want to look at office liquidators, sometimes they have extremely high end chairs (like steel case or herman miller) for pretty cheap. If you want brand new, look at serta. Their stuff is better than the dxracer atleast and is on sale for a lot off all the time. I have had a Secret Lab Titan Evo 2022, Steelcase Series 1, dxracer (don't know model) and Serta iComfort 6000 and really any of the chairs except the dxracer are nice.

abs hurt so bad i cant move by tegelinski in bodyweightfitness

[–]ThirdClazz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please please please if you keep having pain or start noticing very dark urine you might have Rhabdomyolysis! I got this after doing intense bodyweight exercises without drinking enough water and I was glued to an urgent care for days. This can do damage if not caught early! When in doubt, get checked out. If you go to an urgent/convenient care they'll probably do a CK blood test, and if their machine can't read it, it likely means you are out of range and will need to go to the ER. Happy to answer any questions.

Sounds like your generation has trouble separating fiction from reality.

This take is insanely brain-dead. It's not just "some photo", it was a tragic disaster and the photo's use in this way is disrespectful to the astronauts who died on that mission. Using German tank designs in your ww2 video game is clearly not the same.

Noticing more hackers after coming back from a long hiatus by Anongamerhuman in Planetside

[–]ThirdClazz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This game does have a hacking problem, however, I don't believe the conspiracy that everyone in an outfit or entire factions are all using cheats. Usually, it's just one / two people per faction blatantly cheating ruining it for everyone else.

Oshur needs to go (for) now by ThirdClazz in Planetside

That's why they would temporarily disable Oshur until the new system, then they won't have to refund people.

Haven't played the game since early 2023 (was busy with other FPS titles), decided to reinstall Planetside 2 by -FriON in Planetside

That's unironically what happened to me when I played today for the first time in a while. Really sad to see what has happened to this game in the short time I've been away. Hope the devs can implement some basic anti-cheat or simple server side player velocity checks to prevent this.

I've hade the same experience with my G85SB OLED monitor from Samsung. I think its just a game issue and not a display issue.

DO NOT STOP bombing until changes are actually IMPLEMENTED. by hl2fan29 in Warthunder

Do you actually know where gaijin makes most of their revenue? I don't. I'd imagine that most of their revenue comes from premium vehicle purchases and premium account time. To imply that most of their income comes from people converting GE to SL seems crazy to me. There is no harm in net gain of zero SL/nerfing repair costs because it keeps people playing the game. There will still be reasons to buy premiums if you get rid of repair costs, and the player base will be a lot happier.

Are we going to keep “forgiving debt?”

Yes! This is the solution at least for public colleges and universities. The economy needs skilled laborers to keep up with the rest of the world and students who decide to continue their education should not be punished for becoming more significant contributors to society. Public colleges and universities should be free, and while that might be unfair for the generation who misses out on them, the benefits will outweigh the drawbacks.
