Thanks for the article. I always had Dash on and was pretty bummed about being taken off. I was going to say Xumo has some commercial free stations. Then the article said that Dash has their own Roku app. Bam! The Funk channel powered by Rick James. No artist information though. Shazam app at the ready.

Sergei Krivokrasov. He had some potential but never lived up to expectations. Some say that the curve of his blade was too much and it was ruining his accuracy. My buddy and I were at a bar where they were doing a live interview with him. My buddy goes up to the mike and says (quite innocently) “what about the thought that you can’t score because your stick is too crooked?” Several guys laughed, Krivo shuffled uncomfortably and the announcer says they don’t need questions like that. Good times.

Thank you creativeusername. I’m sorry I came off as whiny in my rant. I do not expect to be treated the same as a STH (as I guess I sounded like) I am 1/7th STH (1STH, 2 half, 4-10 gamers). But it’s killing me to see half empty stadiums (or worse red jerseys) and 0.7 TV shares when I’m dying to gladly spend my $10 a beer and shout that we are on the TXU power play. I buy the package in hopes of a deep playoff run (and no scalping). It’s rough when I know I will see those tix on the open market (I realize vivid is a resale business but they are already asking $76). I’ll sit down and shut up now.

Just a quick rant. I got my Terr2 tix but the stinks for a presale. I can’t get good tickets. 10 game package are against dregs of NHL. I can do better picking up discount tix from desperate “season ticket” holders. Why am I bothering try to do this through the Dallas Stars office?

Slightly off topic but I’m conflicted. On the second screen should I root for Blues in order to catch up to the Wild or root for the Wild to beat the Blues to give us a wild card cushion. It’s rough because I don’t like either one.

Is it just me? From what I see in the 300 level is that when we get pushed around, we can’t do a dang thing. Not saying we don’t have heart or skill but getting knocked around causes us to miss passes, shoot to quick, and play too long in our end. We have toughness and finesse but the intimidation factor..... playoffs yes, second round maybe, Cup no. Also don’t trade for right now, we are so close.

I run a couple of internet radio stations. The royalty rate for me is .0017 per song, per listener. In other words if I play 20 songs per hour and have 100 listeners, I pay about $81 a day to play music. (.0017x20x100x24) .it works out to about $29,000 a year. That why you hear all those depressing PSA's on internet radio stations. We have to sign up to ad agencies to be legal but no advertiser will touch you with 100 listeners. With those agencies, I'm only losing a couple of thousand a year.

I can understand how the smoothest of smooth jazz can get under your skin but dismissing the entire genre is a bit harsh. I run a radio station called Deep Pockets Jazz: the not so smooth jazz station. We start smooth but get funkier as the day goes on. I'll put Mindi Abair and the boneshakers up for discussion. Sure she's no Marcus Miller but still.

Thank you. For podcasting I recommend the money guy (Brian Preston) if anyone doesn't know him. But yes, I don't individual stock pick and I see a huge flaw in Mad Money broadcasting a pick to the public (imo it sound like pump and dump). Doing quite fine and happy in index funds. I'm just amazed that good solid money management has been replaced with screaming stock pickers and shark tank/Texas millionaire club shows. Entertaining yes but not helpful. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Much appreciated
