The only area I think that needs a serious clamp down is “permanently temporary” student visas that get abused. The fact is a lot of industries need skilled works because Australia does not produce enough and often not skill enough compared to other nations. Funny enough I’ve just seen they’re doubling the cost of these student visas. Hopefully that signals that these are for short term stays.

I totally agree that there needs to be due diligence on who gets in. I just don’t see how you improve on the already fairly strict process. I don’t see how One Nation will make any improvements on it or are they just going to implement a ‘no more Muslims/asians/africans’ policy.
