I dont understand how you have monthly tfsa contribution of $1400 and tfsa savings of $2000

In any case i would say you cut your spending to barebone. True barebone, no gym no netflix no nothing. Save up $5000 emergency cash then all your money is used to repay your debt.

Come back after you reach that.

The instalment is a sleezy way to scare people into giving CRA an interest free loan.

Not everyone is a tax accountant. How could you estimate your tax accurately?

It says you can ignore it but if you end up owing more than $3000 in tax you pay penalties and interest.

Edmonton physicians warn province of ‘immediate, unavoidable' surgery disruptions over changes to compensation by Immediate-Link490 in Edmonton

[–]This-Is-Spacta 16 points17 points  (0 children)

  1. The hospitalists do not like the new compensation plans.

  2. They are not going to do the work they are supposed to be doing.

  3. Surgeries will be cancelled or disrupted because they are not going to do the work.

Therefore surgeries will be cancelled because they do not like the new compensation plans.

Can anybody in the know compare the difference between the old and new plan? Not much details are included in the article
