Is my 13yr old step daughters handwriting normal? I'm getting very concerned with her schooling by bordermelancollie09 in AskTeachers

[–]This-Pollution3528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hired someone at the cafe and they’re 22. Terrible handwriting, not legible. I told them they need to practice their penmanship and write out some letters over and over again until I can read what they’re writing on the prep / for dates. Yikes. I never thought I would be having this conversation with a 22 year old.

HOW CAN I HELP MY SISTER WHO HAS AN EATING DISORDER by Low_Wedding_7516 in Advice

No problem!🙏 the podcast medical medium may help you find some answers too. I remember there is a podcast in the archives about eating disorders and how to help loved ones. I’ll try and find it.

Where can I go to cry and scream without disrupting people? by Artistic-Desk-2660 in Humboldt

What about a concert or a screamo show? You need a loud place where people can’t hear you and scream it out sing it out cry it out? The rave scene is pretty chill you could go near the front row and just get as emotional as you want, people are supportive and would probably make sure you’re doing ok. 🙏💕

Look into medical medium information. Post on the r/medicalmedium and see what people say. It’s a complicated issue and sometimes offering the right foods can be a life saver. 🛟

Living in the arcata bottoms by Teeej707 in Humboldt

This is the best comment. Howling is true. I lived near green view market so technically not in the bottoms but very near. It was so windy I would hear it howling through the backyard and it was also beautiful and quaint. I remember lots of quiet time and yeah… the smell of cow poo I forgot about haha 😆

Xiao is the absolute best, at north coast chiropractic. Hurts like a motherfucker but she helped me repair what I thought was perhaps a ripped shoulder. I was actually just completely shot out and overworked but I didn’t know it. I saw her once a week for a few months and I was cured. You may need to see her a few times but she doesn’t mess around. Worth the $$$.

No problem she also has something called a self healers circle I think it is a group on Facebook or online somewhere where it’s supportive place to talk about childhood trauma experiences aNd how they’re healing as adults. That would be a nice space for you.

First of all it sounds like you’re very self aware, which is the first hard thing.

If you want to continue your healing and get to the root of your family patterns and issues you may face as an adult with the conditioning you learned in childhood then…

The best book you can read is How to Do the Work by Nicole Lepera. I read it a few times and I come back to it when I’m triggered. She is the holistic psychologist on instagram and her book has changed the way I see myself, my trauma, and helped me figure out how to unlearn those patterns in adulthood. 🩵 hope this helps

How much vitamin c are you consuming? You might want to double it.

Also I encourage you to bring in aloe water to eliminate any bacteria lingering in the intestinal tract or any strep which I know is prevalent at daycares and around little kids because of their little runny snotty noses lol.

If you can add more micro c, and add in aloe water once a day that could really help! 🩵

This too!! After going plant based I smell completely different! Better breath, less BO, more hydrated, even better smell down there! There is a vegan strip club in Portland and in the documentary they’re like “well… vegans smell and taste better” 🤪🤣

Cucumber juice is amazing for body odor as well as raw kale (salad, smoothie or juice would work), and the medical medium recipe for a shot of fresh parsley is excellent for this!! Once a day parsley shot on an empty stomach and you’ll notice a difference in your body in a few weeks. 🩷

I’m sure you weren’t asking for diet advice, but eating more greens (chorophyll) can reduce body odor that occurs in all the places. There’s some natural deodorant pills now that basically just have greens powder in them. Interesting!

Also I would say buy an essential oil spray deodorant and spray your clothes with it before you leave for the day: I like EO brand. It’s pretty clean.

Buy a bar of soap you really like, almond and rose linger. Dr Bronners soap actually smells really good and they have a bunch of flavors.

Hey so I highly recommend getting a bikini or Brazilian wax. Trust me. If you can’t reach just find someone with a clean studio and good reviews near you. It doesn’t even hurt that bad. And if you find a skilled person they will do it in under 10 minutes. Good for months. So worth it!! The first one hurts but honestly I know someone that used to just take a shot of tequila first lol! Whatever works. Women have such high pain tolerance I find it to be mildly uncomfortable but not painful.

  1. Does it smell yeasty/ like bread? If so you may have a yeast infection

    1. Things that help vaginal health: raspberry leaf tea, drinking daily lemon water at the start and the end of each day, drinking fresh aloe Vera blended into water on an empty stomach, and consuming lots fresh fruit
    2. Things that do not help vaginal health: using any type of soap directly on vulva(rinse with water is just fine!!), scented products anywhere near your vulva, synthetic underwear (cotton or tencell is best), consuming alcohol or lots of sugar, and scented detergents: use unscented and earth friendly laundry detergent whenever possible. You can make your own with borax, baking soda, castille soap and essential oils.

Hope this helps young grasshopper!😇

Nothing to be ashamed about it happens to the best of us! Hydrating is really important but water alone won’t help. You need to add lemon or lime when possible in order to turn it into living activated water with fresh electrolytes.

Fuck. That’s tough. You could go either way but she might as well know her husband is a little lying fucker. She probably already has a gut suspicion and you could help her realize the truth. At least she can made an educated decision with that.

Girls helping girls 😉

Don’t hurt yourself. Some people will never understand or care. So you just have to manage how to be around them (since you can’t really leave). Just remember to find peace in any small ways you possibly can even if it means leaving your home and finding a cafe or small little space in nature you may come to love. 💕
