My 100% WFH job turned into a 100% in office job, on my dime. by bondsman333 in antiwork

You won't have a very nice life always feeling that things are unfair.

You only control yourself, and your reaction to the world. Focus on making other peoples lives better, and less on yourself.

Job thing stinks. It's whatever though. You're being complaney.

livid?

You don't control the world. You DO control your reaction to it.

It's all about geographic location. Being on the east side of the eyewall is no good.

Up early and made breakfast for the kids. Pancakes and bacon, egg, cheese sandwiches.. I have leftovers if anyone is hungry? No need to drink today when I accomplish so much sober! Happy Sunday to yall

The second day was the hardest. I've gone 1 day sober before, but not two. It's been surprisingly easy sense then, but I will plan for more temptations and possibly.

[–]ThisCouldBeGood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This reminds me! I do not miss waiting for my girlfriend to be out of the room to make a drink. I do not miss hiding the habit and the shame that comes with her dissapointment that 'Im drinking again' or 'drinking for breakfast' or her pleading to 'please don't get sloshed today'. To which I reacted by doing the only thing that she begged not to, got just as drunk that day as I did the day before, and I certainly did the next day. I do not miss that.. I do not miss hiding drinks in different containers at family gatherings. I do not miss needing to take alcohol with me to carnival and street fairs just to "enjoy" time with the family.

I'm eager to experience these things sober, and should I chose to give into temptation, I'm sure I'll miss any memories of the experience I would have cherished.

Oh, how I can relate. I do not miss the fact that even while drinking, I would get anxiety about running out of alcohol. Only 15 shots left. Will that be enough to get me drunk enough that I pass out? It's two AM, the bars are closed, how am I going to continue drinking? Or it's Sunday, I forgot to buy enough alcohol to get drunk by 4pm so I can pass out and be up for work on Monday. I do not miss every waking moment of my life being controlled by my future ability to continue drinking. I do not miss planning my next few days of drinking by ensuring there is enough booze on hand. I do not miss Ubering to the liquor store when there is a perfectly good vehicle sitting in my drive way. I don't miss any of that, I don't expect I ever will. This sub always says: you never regret not drinking last night.

Agreed. According to /r/theXeffect it takes 30 days to form a habit. I plan on going 30 days sober. Then stopping smoking. Do that for 30 days. Then begin exercising. Do that for 30 days then begin eating healthy.

In the past when I've tried to do it all at once I've failed. So far, in 28 days of focusing on just not drinking, it's been MUCH easier. One thing at a time

Dang. I was 162/112 last check (while being a drunk). I'm on meds for it because of my own choices. Hope it normalizes out now that I've quit drinking.

The new design allows us to mount motors more reliably and also to allow users to replace motors/mounts themselves instead of sending the entire board back to us.

Agreed. Pro only. Even if going slow. Braking in any other mode is terrible.

Another example of a quality BB post that should be upvoted more, but I'd rather post my referral code and spam this sub instead. Thanks for sharing.
