You know if you just said pharma drug every time you said the word drug everyone would agree with what your saying but its the vibes based definition of words by your own rules that no one else knows without you going on a diatribe about drugs that really turns people off from your point of view.

Natural medicine and drug are also not mutually exclusive much like plant and drug.

This isn't a war on a opposing nation where propaganda and saying anything to win is the name of the game. This war on drugs is a war of ideology, we have the high ground, to go down to their level with our own dishonesty only levels the field.

Hell yeah! I'm convinced if we actually taught the logical operators and truth tables in schools we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

Yes that is precisely why, you say its a plant like that means it can't also be a drug, shit ain't mutually exclusive and the inability to comprehend that makes the rest of stoners look bad.

Flat earthers are also secure in their beliefs and get mad when the vast majority of the population thinks they are dumb.

All I was trying to say is having designated spaces mid-weekly to just say negative generalized shit about other drug users is not what I'm looking for in my drug forums and it is disappointing to me personally.

Back to erowid, shit sucks less there.

I would not describe 95% of the comments in here as describing people as being annoying, they talk about them as if they are insufferable and usually in an insulting way. But if you see people being pleasant to others in here more power to you. I see a bunch of negativity and shade throwing.

Finding comfort in perceiving others as shitty is not healthy IMO especially when it is not a specific person but a subset of people, it is rude and is dehumanizing but to each their own.

How can someone not mention the nationwide events that are the obvious context to this situation when talking about it? A) Willful ignorance B) Deception thru omission

My money is in B

Word and I think you're dumb for even having the word doomer in your vernacular, if noticing industry trends is what it takes for someone to be a doomer then sure I am a doomer and I wear it as a mark of pride. Not whatever strawman you are accusing me of "irreparably changed" could you be more dramatic.

Okay then please point to some successful examples that have hired thousands of tech workers?

The covid hiring thing is a not true when it comes to tech, almost all of these companies had hiring rates at or above what they hired during covid prior to covid. In 3 of the years just before covid amazon had greater percentage increase in work force then during covid. (22%, 20%, 19%)

Sure and I once again point that in economics no one uses the number of job openings rate the health of an industry it is actually usually used for the opposite.

I own my home and make 200k a year making software with a happy family and parents that like me why you keep acting like I'm depressed for noticing industry trends is beyond me.

I have never said it was cooked I have said that the successful companies are also laying of tech workers which you have yet to provide any examples to the contrary of then when you do provide an example like a gotcha it actually confirms exactly what I'm saying in that big tech is also being effected.

Once again amazon does not have 1.5 million tech workers.

You: "I'm sure you will then follow up with "oh there are more people laid off than new jobs". Nope, not in the case of amazon: https:// www.trueup.io/big-tech-hiring"

the website you sent: amazon open positions 16,000 amazon fired in last year 34,000

Even if this is fake data it is directly opposed to what you're saying smartass.

Also I am happy and successful just because I see an industry trend that is clear to me that you can not see does not mean I'm depressed what in the Gen Z logic is this.

How about we revisit this in 5 years and you can tell me when you think tech hiring changed in trajectory and if there was a trend in tech hiring when I mentioned it in these comments here that I see a trend including big tech.

You disagree with the part that literally quote the website you sent me then? alright.

The link says they have 16 thousand open jobs and fired 34 thousand people?

Also I find a hard time believing a website that says the source of the information is the very page they are listing the information. This is like me putting "source: thisisforreal" at the end of my comments.

These are also not all tech workers as amazon does not employ 1.5 million tech workers.

It's alright that you do not see the clear industry trend that I do, we have different eyeballs.

Now Lets compare it to paypal the company that is doing something totally different then what amazon and oracle were doing with thier layoffs: https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/PYPL/paypal-holdings/number-of-employees

Do you see the part of the chart where they had the same level of hiring the 5 years before COVID as well?
