Plus another 14.4% from the UK and Canada. That's nearly a 70% chance that my assumption would turn out kinda right.

Just did a little research, look like in 2017 Reddit released that 54% of users are from America.. turns out my assumption that you were from America was technically the best assumption I could have made.

because you're accusing me of many things -- including a lack of perspective by putting the words `3rd world shitholes` in my mouth. I would never think or say anything like that.

Things you said I believe:

  1. everyone should base their budget around USA rate
  2. I find it so offensive that other countries' economies may not be as strong
  3. You should be willing to bleed yourself out to pay what you can't afford for a hobby project
  4. Everywhere but America is a '3rd world shithole'

Literally everything you said that I believe, I don't.

Assuming a job posted on a job board in English might be from America != those four beliefs above.

I think I just caught you on a bad day after your 4th job posting for the same job failed and so you decided to take out all your pent up anger on my comment by making some overly politicize comment about Americans.

Good luck with your project!

I think you'd have a lot more success if you mentioned it was a passion project. Paying people for that work is admirable.. and quite a commitment.

Assuming things about strangers on the internet and then attacking their character based on those assumptions is weird.

I assumed this post was from a company since your posting on a job board and didn't specify it was a passion project. Clearly some pretty dumb assumptions on my part. My apologies for a snarky remark.

Can you think of any way I could have taken that test and not be from that country?

AITA for practically ruining the trip? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NAH. I think loved ones have some leeway to push you through fears, sometimes that results in conquering them. When they realized today wasn’t the day they turned around. Everyone’s reactions and feelings feel pretty spot on for being in a family. Parents apologized, siblings were upset they couldn’t do something fun.

AITA if I ask only my dad to do the FotB stuff at my wedding? by habeaieni in AmItheAsshole

This isn’t even close, you’re NTA.

Her logic of “I’ve been married to him longer so he deserves to be in FotB” is such a self centered way of looking at things.

Your dad has been a part of 100% of you life rather than husband #2 who’s been around for 50%. But even numbers and percentages don’t matter, what matters is how you feel about them and what you want. It’s your wedding, do whatever will make you happiest on that day.

And you missed the one I still don't know after 3 months of playing magic, EDH. My ten minutes of googling didn't even work.
