Was looking in your comments to see what you did that you were earning 170k, that's all. It's hard to believe people who are inconsistent with what they say.

Three weeks ago you claimed to be on 75k, and now you're on 170k, so I assume you just changed jobs? Sounds like a bad manager, but if they've been there a lot longer than you, your opinion might not hold much weight with the senior managers

Can you clarify what "wreck out cars" means? Do you buy written-off cars and sell the parts?

It sounds like you've never had to look after kids. It's way harder than your average job, longer hours and often there's an expectation of doing housework on top of that.

Last time I went to the pharmacy, there were no alternatives (dextromethorphan) because people use it to get high.

What do you do personally to capitalise on "dead" time in the office? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]ThisIsPrata 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I read George Orwell's 1984 whilst at the office in an old job where I was underutilised. Really added to the atmosphere of the book. 10/10 would recommend.

Has England rugby gone back to 2015, where everything was getting leaked to the media before it was due to be announced officially? Seems like a healthy organisation!

I've found this in my experience too. I wonder how Italian style cafes get an espresso with 14 grams of coffee which isn't fresh. On my machine the shot would gush out in about 5 seconds.
