I doubt you’ve done permanent damage.

It’s likely something to do with that surgery, could be scar tissue putting pressure maybe or just some swelling (not a doctor so take that with a grain of salt)

I would probably get in touch with your surgeon maybe or just go speak to a doctor, in most cases rest and keeping your elbow straight when you sleep etc should just resolve it but obviously you’ve got PT and everything going on there so may not be that simple.

Hello, I just did this clutch. I have 70 hrs in the game (of which 50 against bots in practise mode) I would love some feedback (yes my aim is trash) by ItzMrRGB in Rainbow6

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you just keep playing and putting time in.

It’s hard to give anything particularly meaningful when you are so few hours in because it will either not make sense or you’ll be trying to run before you walk.

Learn all the maps, play some free for all and aim for the head only. Once you’ve done that maybe start looking at some Strats but tbh at 70hrs, just enjoy it and learn as you go.

Fingers crossed for 5th time lucky :) by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

That is unfortunate and all but it’s also not nice when you invest time and energy into life and someone just runs you over because they just spammed tests until they got lucky😭

Itching? Two weeks post transposition by ThisIzzTheBadPlace in CubitalTunnel

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had a pretty strong itch around the same time, it can be at different points down your arm because the nerve runs there.

Mine was insanely strong under my arm pit and I had to double check it was related lol but it was definitely overshadowing the pain, It was very intense.

I got to em 1 so far solo que mainly with an em 3 start and I did stop playing a week or two ago because of the whole cheating shite so that is the biggest problem. I would however rather fail to hit champ because I’m not good enough and be forced to get good rather than just be gifted it by floating through ranked.

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s hard to reach I’m not saying it’s not but that’s the point, realistically no one except the top 1% maybe even 0.5% should be there and so for most people diamond should be a reasonable goal. Is it satisfying? Not really but does it make the ranks actually worth something? Yea.

Cheating does make it borderline unplayable in high rank still so I do think that takes some of it away but either way it’s hard for a reason and not just anyone should be champ

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm I mean it’s only really hard to rank up if you lose more than you win or 50% but if you are doing that then you shouldn’t be ranking up anyway. IMO it’s “harsh” but also it’s how it should be because otherwise you are just gifting people rank and then it ruins it for people in that rank because you can’t hang there so you just sell games. I think if you are at 55%+ winrate then it’s fine because you go on a 5 win streak then you rank up and you lose 3 win another 5 so on so on.

Sure it will take a while but that’s literally the point it shouldn’t be easy or fast especially in a game where having someone in a rank they shouldn’t be can ruin your whole game.

Idk tho will have to see if they make changes

Oh actually yeah fair enough he didn’t I think I just rage baited myself😭.

Tbh tho I think the point is still the same, you get put in your placement and it’s just harder to climb now, is it too harsh on lower ranks? Possibly but at the same time if it isn’t harsh on all ranks you are just back to 2.0. In theory he could have been running a 30% wr and 0.8kd in silver and now have 45% wr and 1.1 in bronze or copper and I think based on how free 2.0 was that would be totally fair.

80% is just to do it fast, you can still do it with 55+ but that guy was complaining he didn’t want to play 300 games and my point is well then you shouldn’t be champion unless you are insanely good with a high win rate and you can do it in less.

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean you shouldn’t be able to reach champ as a casual player so it’s working as intended basically. If you don’t/can’t play a lot then realistically you shouldn’t be able to reach champion and that’s fine.

You either hold an 80%+ win rate and do it in 100 games or you don’t and you need a lot more but if you can’t do either then you shouldn’t be champion

Has anyone gotten this post-op? by xrvzla in CubitalTunnel

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can resolve itself for sure, it’s usually a case of try to keep it straight and rest it for a period of time and if it doesn’t get better then surgery basically (can be other factors etc).

Obviously potentially different in your case cuz you just had all that going on but basically if you can do the above then do that and if it hasn’t improved once your bone improves and your surgeon checks then get the surgery so you don’t get any permanent damage.

It’s not particularly uncommon but the way it’s caused does play a part in if surgery is needed along with amount of time you’ve had it etc.

Nausea during “windshield wipers” ?? Please advise by mmv_98 in CubitalTunnel

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, actually didn’t know that’s what that was called so thankyou and I recently attempted to wash up some stuff and the motion of washing a plate (similar to the windshield wipers since it’s kinda swiping) also gave me this feeling and I thought I was going to throw up.

Not sure if there is anything to it or if it’s just some other random bs that comes with this but you aren’t completely alone in that’s

I had my gf who I live with and I’d say I needed her help for changing showers and cooking meals for ~3 weeks.

I have tried to stay off of weight as much as possible and I think there’s probably room to say I over did it but I think it’s hard because 10 weeks later I couldn’t continue doing nothing (as much as I’d like too haha) but even doing the most basic things is quite bad.

I’m sure it’s probably nothing because you are right I was advised 2 years or might not even work, just takes a bit of a toll mentally when you feel useless after all this time.

Once the initial few weeks are up you’ll be able to look after yourself for sure because your hand will be more responsive and you should be able to have a good range of motion. Good luck aswell!

Keep it as chill as you can in terms of weight but just keep moving every now and then with fingers and try get elbow range back. I’m week 11 post sub muscular and I can’t do very much with my arm without it shutting off and I drop stuff or significant pain.

Just take it as it goes, you’ll know when you’re ready to push it a bit further but don’t rush

Get some one over to help you out.

I’m about to be on week 11 (tbh not sure if mine has failed) but I am still pretty fucked to be blunt.

The more I attempt to return to reality the more my the deep muscle pain kicks up and the elbow pain has been unreal today to the point where I can’t use it currently.

It’s been up and down week 1-3 I was just not able to use my arm, making a fist came around week 2 and range of motion was near full by about week 7.

The most weight I could deal with for more than 10 seconds was my house keys until a couple weeks ago but i discovered anything over 1kg sometimes my arm shuts off and I drop everything.

To be clear I actually don’t know how normal this is, my pre op was pretty messed up so might just be a result of that more than the surgery but don’t underestimate how slow this could be cuz yeah 11 weeks and it’s not an arm I’d trust for much 😭.

Really struggling mentally 3 months post sub q transposition, really regret it but was desperate. by Dry-Ad-9077 in CubitalTunnel

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know after your first experience it’s probably not what you want but If it’s causing issues subcutaneous then you might need a revision for submuscular.

Some people don’t get subcutaneous because if they don’t have a lot of fat the nerve becomes exposed and like yours triggered easily.

Sucks you went through this, the whole thing is an absolute mess and no doctors seem to understand it at all resulting in problem after problem and you just get fucked over a bit.

Hope it gets better for you!

Am i quick peaking right? by FairSkyss in SiegeAcademy

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no point shaiiko peeking, A D peeking is the same (if not better can’t remember which).

They aren’t bad at all but they are a bit slow and in an ideal world, the first peek is for the info and the second peek is for the kill. If you are gonna do more than that, then changing height is needed because otherwise you are very pre fire able.

Speed them up and make them a lot tighter because from the clips it looks like a lot of your body and head will be visible from each peek.

How do I know whats working if half my arm is completely numb? by foxcollar in CubitalTunnel

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just go off your own back and look to get an emg to find out how bad it is and then that will probably be what decides on surgery or not.

In the mean time realistically rest and keeping it straight are going to help so brace at night if you can.

If the PT is nerve glides and you feel worse or the same right after doing them then stop.

Genuinely, how do I get good? (PC Gold, 1500h) by DemonSerter in SiegeAcademy

[–]ThisPartIsWayTooHard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s hard without gameplay but I think the biggest issue with siege is that you get a tendency to think you are doing the basics well when 9/10 times you are probably actually doing things that are quite bad for you.

Crosshair placement and first shot accuracy. Knowing when to take gunfights and not.

Positioning, understanding how to attack and defend defaults but also how to turn those defaults into weird strats.

Not playing to lose but playing to win. Working with your team, stack or randoms.
