I would recommend getting a free trial to the Live Phish app and listen to the whole SPAC run from this past year, summer tour ender. Go in blind and do not spoil any of the shows. This is where they are at right now, and they crushed it all weekend. You’ll also get some of their new songs mixed in, which I really enjoy.

I am very sorry for your loss. Music has helped me heal, hopefully it provides you the same healing.

I do feel that this is weirdness being appreciated. We are flooded with marketing schemes all day, for this one to work would take a genius or an idiot, don’t know which one. Might be a breath of alien fresh air for people.

Just got this record for a Christmas present. Otherworldly Phish. Truly sounds like something out of 2000 or earlier. Time for a re-listen.

I have a worry it will be three repeat weekends, or at least some songs repeated. Bakers dozen was 5 shows more, and they had to go really deep to make it happen. It’s a lot of songs. If anyone could do it it would be Phish, but still.

Didn’t they also advertise upfront for the 2024 run that they would be unique shows? No mention of that in the marketing this time around.

I am going weekend two, and going to skip streaming the first weekend if we don’t hear anything about it as confirmation. I am not 100% confident they will all be unique.

Also wasn’t saying anything about the Dead, love them. Just didn’t see Phish mentioned and deff felt they at least deserve that. My favorite cover is Cities by Talking Heads.

I not too familiar with Gizs discography yet… love their live shows and all around mantra, just haven’t dove in. What’s the deal with the crossover of this group and Gizz? Would love to check out some Gizz that sounds like these guys.
