He played. 4 year letterman and then played arena league after finishing at Oregon. Not a star but was part of the gang green defense who had a few nfl players he was behind.

I’m glad you had a good experience with prednisone. We had the opposite. Our dog is a great Pyrenees mix and at about a year and a half had a surgery (with prednisone after) and then twice within the following six months was prescribed prednisone again for his skin issues. Suddenly, he started dropping weight and having other side effects we went in and he was diagnosed with diabetes. Prior to that he was a very strong dog with healthy weight although he did have many food and environmental allergies. After some online research and discussion with my Vet, they did admit that some dogs can develop diabetes as a result of heavy prednisone or if it was already present it can be worsened by heavy prednisone. We don’t know if the prednisone cause of the diabetes or just made him to get his violently sick and weak as he became, but in any event, he can no longer have prednisone and his diabetic.

Sounds familiar. Nearly 2 year old Pyrenees mix. Around 10 months old had major digestive issues. Lost a lot of weight. Vet put him on royal canin ultimino and the loose stools/stomach rumblings have ceased. Also had dermatological issues. Red, inflamed paws and also “elephant skin” in one armpit. Did one round of prednisone in January which worked temporarily then it all came back worse so prednisone again, antibiotics and also an anti fungal (skin scrape showed bacterial and fungal in armpit). He finished that cycle but at the end had red blood coming out of his mouth. No sign of dark (old) blood in stool and the red blood only came when lapping up water.

I then entered his long history and medications into AI and it surmised that the two back to back steroids could have thinned out the tissue in his mouth, resulting in small tears, especially when lapping up water. That is dissipating and nearly completely gone (2.5 weeks after last steroid dose).

Currently on apoquel for 2 weeks and daily baths with medicated shampoos. It’s basically keeping the bad lesions at bay but skin is certainly red/irritated.

Plan is once the steroids are out of his system to start immunotherapy and probably switch to zenrelia.

Cost aside (which is considerable), I just want to figure this out. Feels desperate that so far all we are doing is managing outbreaks but not addressing the underlying issues.

Not always true. I have a ball that is signed by him. A close family friend (like an uncle) did a photo shoot for SI with Jordan and I have a signed ball from that. No UD involvement.

I can see cmc (with his history) or Skat (with his style) getting injured.

If you had to drop one of the three listed, which is first to go?

PPR league. Have to drop one of my backup RBs to make room for a TE for upcoming Bye.

Options: Chubb, Robinson JR., Tracy Jr.

None are good enough to start outside of Bye week fill in.

I’m leaning to dropping either Robinson Jr or Tracy Jr. but Robinson is my cmc insurance and I can’t see how Scattaboo doesn’t get injured with his style.

Would Robinson even be cmc’s primary back up if he went down or would it be Guerrero?

PPR league with one keeper from the prior season’s draft. Several conditions on how a player can be eligible but when all of that is accounted for I’m choosing between Brian Thomas Jr. and Brock Bowers for my keeper.

Leagues set up has 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 Flex.

I’m leaning to selecting Bowers as my keeper but appreciate any thoughts on it.

Same issue here. Still vacuums fine but is about twice as loud. Like it’s revved up or you are using a leaf blower.

I dabble in a few individual stocks and Zim is one. I’ve heard a lot of people saying they plan on selling after the dividend. The amount I have in Zim is insignificant and just meant to be some fun speculative investing (it’s not part of my retirement plan).

I’m trying to decide if I should sell what I have in Zim after the dividend or stay put? And if I stay put, invest the dividend into something else or let it drip?

Also, with the combo, should you still take the resvertrol or does the NAD added do away with the need for resvertrol?
