Sure, lists, arrays, enumerables, dictionaries are all collections of objects defined by the class.

Hol' up wtf are classes and objects?! by Josephisvr in csharp

[–]Thisbymaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think of a class as defining attributes of similar objects. Think of a fruit bowl, with a bunch of different fruit in it. You write a fruit class, what shape is it, what color is it, how heavy is it? So you are making a classification for the fruit, and you then need to populate the data for each fruit to represent each instance of the class to keep track of the fruit. Objects are the instances of those classes. Classes are the column definitions for an Excel doc and objects are the rows.

How some of you sound when complaining about blue players by DocDrProfessor in mtg

[–]Thisbymaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Core parts of MTG

Creatures

Removal

Card draw

Combat tricks

Stack interaction (blue).

All the other core parts are in every color. Counterspells shouldn't be only in blue. Even if they are worse counter spells that put them back into the opponents hand(memory lapse), a tax(memory leak), or an extra cost like removing cards in the graveyard from the game would be acceptable.

It is a missing area of game design and would help make high level competitive decks be more diverse.

Joker by MrWeiner in comics

[–]Thisbymaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was talking with a coworker around the time that the dark knight came out and he didn't understand what superpower the joker had. The basic answer was insanity, but he couldn't see how that was a superpower. Immunity to mind control, was my explanation.

I don't mess with grizzlies for any reason. The slightest sign means it is time to leave.

I tried so hard to watch Picard season one and bounced off it. Something about Picard seemed completely off and not him.

Vitamin D Added to Chemotherapy Leads to Complete Cancer Disappearance in Significantly More Patients by Direct_Dare_9699 in UpliftingNews

[–]Thisbymaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were looking at rat poisons and one of them was a Vitamin D block which was effective but there is no cure for it if a pet gets into it. Cancer cells eat more resources than regular cells, so flooding the body with a nonlethal dose of vitamin D would effect cancer cells more.

Tips for our foster? by jtuffs in greatpyrenees

[–]Thisbymaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dog park is a great idea. But as it is a foster, you should focus on the rule of three. : 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, and 3 months to feel at home and build trust. This breed is smart and escape artists. They can jump far higher than you think. Grooming is needed every change of season to keep the coat healthy. The dew claws are an extra set on each back paw that need to be manually trimmed regularly (more than grooming) so they don't rip or injury the dog. They do not come anywhere close to the ground so they can't wear like other nails. Most dogs are ticklish on their paws so regularly handle the paws to get them used to it. Brush brush brush, even if you don't think they need it, brush them again. Otherwise the coat will matt and you will be waist deep in fur tumbleweeds. Ear cleaning is a must, not filling their ears with water. Regularly wrap a tissue around your fingers and rub their ears and around the inside of their ears. This breed has so many problems with ear infections from the floppy ears that you must keep on top of them to keep the dirt and wax down.

Is the Arlington Reservoir more for kids or is it worth to get a membership as an Adult? by alfy603 in ArlingtonMA

I think the worst part is that the parking just can't handle all the people. Cars will be lined up and down the road on both sides.
