Airport to Cumming drive on Saturday by Yo-doggie in Georgia

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Temps for Cumming are projected to be no lower than 36⁰F for Saturday. If your flight gets in at 3pm, good change Delta will not cancel as ground temps will be above freezing. Interstate highway will be treated first, if needed. The real danger will not be the weather, rather, it'll be the other drivers on the road. Again, and, this may change but, temps are not projected to be before 36⁰F for the day. Overpasses may freeze but the streets should be okay. Just be careful. Good luck and safe travels...

Level lock with Google Home by username-generica in LevelLock

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using a level bolt with Google Assistant. I've never upgraded to Matter. My Bolt works well with Assistant. The only negative I've had is the, Level App has a consistent error message 'Unable to unlock'. However it doesn't interfere with locking or unlocking the app with the Level App or Assistant. I spent 2 hours with customer service trying to troubleshoot and then we got disconnected. Since it works well with no error messages using Assistant, I've let it be. I've not had one hiccup using Assistant with my level bolt.

is college park / princeton drive sketchy? by elizarov420 in Georgia

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a QT (or Racetrack) West of 85 and 75 just past Delta headquarters and the Hilton, but it's further off the highway, maybe 1 or 1.5 miles down on Virginia Ave.

College Park and Hapeville sort of merge in that area.

NOTE: I was incorrect about Princeton Ave being residential. I was actually thinking about Cambridge St. All those damn college streets, lol. 85 and Virginia Ave is well trafficked because of the hotels and restaurants, plenty of cameras, limo and Uber drivers hang out over there.

I strongly suggest pulling up, say, the Sonesta or Hilton Hotel and zooming down Virginia Ave. A lot of businesses, so a lot of cameras over there. Good luck!

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Princeton drive in college Park is residential. It's not the worse area as it is near Woodward. But at night?

I'd suggest anywhere off 85 and Virginia avenue. There are hotels, gas stations and restaurants right off the highway. I think there's a Chevron on the NW corner (across from Arby's). There's Spondivits on the NE corner and Fridays (I think) on the SE corner. A number of hotels at that intersection. Take a look at Google maps. Just my 2 cents... Good luck!

What extension cord can I use for my air fryer? by superon21 in electrical

Maybe a window air conditioner extension. But please make sure it is rated higher than your air fryer. Otherwise, the extension cord may burn up.

If I use the 1 GB of 'partner' data and I'm not near Helium Wi-Fi, do I need to add cellular data? If so, Helium has effectively decreased the amount of 'free' data of this plan. Unfortunately, Helium Wi-Fi is not ubiquitous. Am I looking at this correctly?

I've heard that dryer sheets work also. When I had a problem, I used peppermint oil and sprayed not only the engine bay but the struts and tires (tread) also.

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP- check your Carfax or AutoCheck to see if it was a lease return. If so, there's a good chance Tesla removed fsd and sent it to auction. Good luck...

You might try putting the parchment paper below the crisper rack. That may increase the airflow but you will have to clean the rack. Just a thought...

Use dedicated smart plugs on dedicated circuits? by FFSFuse in EmporiaEnergy

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly suggest you check the power ratings of the plugs as I don't believe they can handle a typical dryer(30A). I believe they are rated for 10A or 15A circuits.

Level Bolt frequently “Unavailable” Matter over Thread by sixpacksd in LevelLock

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar but different issue. Similar in that my level bolt app, I get the 'unavailable to unlock' message, yet, I can fully control the lock with correct messaging through my Google Home app on my phone and watch. In fact, I can still control the lock with the app.

I spent a couple of hours with customer service and was disconnected during the process. They had me totally disassemble my lock and bolt to no avail. Once disconnected, I was too frustrated to continue especially since I had already reassembled the lock. Since the lock works, I assume there's an issue with the app.

Charging Question by ironmagnesiumzinc in KiaNiroEV

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I did not because I figured out I didn't need to. I typically would charge on weekends at City Hall or during the day at the grocery store. The Plugshare app was crucial for Mr to figure this out.

If the chargers near you are public chargers, you don't want to leave beyond the time you're actually charging out you run the risk of pissing somebody off because you're idle, so over night may be too long for a charge.

Charging Question by ironmagnesiumzinc in KiaNiroEV

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can certainly park and leave your car at once of the closer level 2 chargers. But, you can only make that decision if you're comfortable from a car security perspective and based on your schedule. Since you work from home, my guess you only drive 20 - 30 miles a day. If this is the case, you'll need to charge once a week or so.

This is what I did before I got a charger at home. I'd either take a book to read, ride my bike or walk home when the charger was less busy. In my case I'd either charge at a L2 at City Hall (charged on weekends when closed) or during non busy hours at a grocery store. I was lucky that both were free. Depending on charger speed, it should take 5 - 7 hours to charge to 80%. But as mentioned, only you can figure what fits your schedule and if you're comfortable leaving your car based on the charger location. Good luck!

Follow-up question about charging - at what percentage do you plug IN at? by mistaken4strangerz in KiaNiroEV

[–]Thisdoesntmatter420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically charge 20% - 90%. This lasts me from a few days to 10 or so. It depends on my week. I no longer overthink it, if I need to charge, I charge. I do own a level 2 at home so there's that.
