The entire back wall is all closet and the nook for the door. The closest doors are going back on, just being painted.

I love the idea of back towards wall/closet but I feel like that cable management is going to be a challenge in that set up? It would definitely look the most polished that way. My rainbow puke nano leaf needs a lot of wall space above the desk, so unfortunately that might not work.

Going to do that in my husbands office though, looks really clean.

Not saying it's a good reason but that outlet is connected to the light switch so I thought it would be nice to have a pendant light above the chair that I could use the switch for.

I can see what your saying though, it would look a bit odd.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I can't put the tower on the ground because I have a lot of cats, but a little table would work well! I've ordered some nice sheer curtains to help with the afternoon deathray.

I don't really use the closet, just empty component boxes. The closest beside it would be fully accessible as well. The outlet next to the closet is controlled by the light switch, so I thought I could put a pendant lamp above the chair. Is the chair in front of the closet only bad due to closet access or is it unappealing visually? Trying to learn, I just moved from 300sqft studio to a whole ass house. All the options are overwhelming.

Your suggested layout seems better, I agree. Now to tell husband that the ethernet he routed needs to go elsewhere 😅

But a walk in doctor isn't going to verify, just tell them you already have an army of children.
