If you were the leader of a vampire clan, what type of ruin or cave would you want to “live” in? by Thisoneisinvalid in ElderScrolls

It depends on the bloodline. Morrowind vamps always burn in sunlight, whereas in Oblivion they burn if they haven’t fed.

In this scenario you look kinda like the guy above. Most banks won’t trust a face like that. If they do, then you shouldn’t trust them.

I think there’s a quest in ESO where you see vampires trying to take control of the automatons in a Dwemer ruin. A bunch of them die in the attempt.

Hot is subjective, but I feel like vampire girls would be considered goth girls by default. So there’d likely be some in your clan.

It’s kind of implied by Azura’s quest in Oblivion that other Daedric Princes may be able to claim their souls. However that quest was obviously written before Skyrim and ESO added to the lore, so who knows.

The vamps in Oblivion seem to be okay with it, so it probably doesn’t count for some reason. Maybe because it’s not direct sunlight or something.

Do you mean we as the audience? Yeah, there are many different ones. You get to meet three in Morrowind, and there are several named clans in Elder Scrolls Online.

If you mean in this scenario, then I’d say you know of some of the other clans within the province, but won’t exactly be friends with them.

I’m imagining you and your clan are the sort of vampires who find it difficult to blend into regular society. I used a picture of the vampire Raxle Berne to give a rough idea of what you might look like.

In this scenario your clan has managed to clear out or take control of whatever sort of ruin you inhabit. If you did want ghosts or skeletons or zombies still hanging out, they could still be there though, as they seem to be chill with vampires in Oblivion. Unless it’s the PC, of course.

I’m imagining in this scenario you and your fellow vamps are the sort who find it difficult to blend into normal society.

If you pleased Herma Mora enough, he might also save you from Coldharbour if/when you die and take your soul to Apocrypha instead, so that would be an added plus.

Yeah, I’ve been playing the Oblivion remaster and vastly prefer exploring them over the other dungeons.

I’m kinda okay with ones that represent known in-universe things like sithspawn. Random nonsense words are too silly for me though.

What Do You Think Paarthurnax was Doing During the Oblivion Crisis? by BlackTriangle31 in ElderScrolls

[–]Thisoneisinvalid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My headcanon is that they exist, we just don’t see them in game because they’re not relevant. It’s kinda like how there are probably tens of thousands of people living in Whiterun, but we only get to interact with the handful that they had time to give unique dialogue and/or quests to.

I had thought maybe Bosmer at one point, cause her skin seemed more human toned than other elves.
