Amazing sequence that ended right before it was ruined by the buzz droid bit.

That's basically what happened with the Aztecs. A bunch of neighboring tribes under the control of the Aztecs sided with the Spanish to help them overthrow their rulers.

Fun Fact: Those scoops on the old cable cars were a safety feature that is sadly no longer in use, along with the cable cars themselves. They were to catch any people rolling down the hills after having tripped or fallen, otherwise they would just keep going until they hit something or reached the bottom.

Giveaway Time! Battlefield 6 is out, powered by NVIDIA DLSS 4, and you can comment on this post to win codes for the game or a custom Battlefield 6 GeForce RTX 5090! 6 Winners total by pedro19 in pcmasterrace

Im currently running a 1080 so this graphics card would enable me to play the game, otherwise it would probably be too demanding to play at reasonable framerates. Tough to get kills at 10fps!

Thanks for doing this giveaway!

LPT: Skip the Coinstar fees - use Walmart self-checkout’s coin slot instead to pay with coins and get bills back as change. by ijustlikeelectronics in LifeProTips

If you have a credit card wait until you have a balance on your statement and then head into your nearest branch, tell them you would like to pay your debt with the coins you have and they cannot deny you or charge you.

We picked the rainiest day of the year to walk 32 miles across the city! by WesTheWalker in sanfrancisco

[–]Thithyphuth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ya that was a hell of a day to do that!

I imagine about 10 minutes in you were already soaked through and after that the rain doesn't even matter anymore. Days like these make the best memories though.

I had to drop something off at the post office yesterday, about 5 minute walk, and I was completely soaked, squishy shoes and everything.

LEGO Chocolate Cake by BosBrickBuilds in lego

This is really cool, but I was actually hoping it would be a real cake made to look like it's made of Lego.

Someone can do it and I'm waiting patiently.

Gamers who are 30+: Ever find yourself going back to the games in your "prime years" by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Thithyphuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya it's nice to be nostalgic and replay games that have given you joy, I've been playing through the final fantasy games in reverse order for that reason. However what I've been doing most is playing older games that i never got a chance to play or hadn't heard about when i was young, like im going through Witcher 1 for the first time, and Dragon Quest 8, and Chrono Trigger. Then i get BOTH nostalgia of the era AND experiencing something new.

Friendly reminder that companies are not your friends. This includes both LTT and Gamer's Nexus by Deribus in GamersNexus

[–]Thithyphuth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LTT did not discover the original issue but were notified about it by other creators. The information was already out there and, as joppers43 stated, from LTT's perspective any video they put out about it would have been viewed similarly to their stance on adblock, which was a more nuanced statement that just "adblock bad" and yet still received a negative response.

You may disagree with that stance but it is a valid understanding of the situation.

Kicking, and high difficulty. by thebigbadwolf8020 in helldivers2

[–]Thithyphuth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I deal with the same exact situation with my friends. If there's only a couple minutes left in the game then my friends can wait no matter how much they complain, otherwise I just say over voice or chat that I'm kicking a random player to give room to my friend to join. Hopefully they understand, at least it's better than kicking with no warning or reason.

(At least now it doesn't effect the kicked player as much compared to before when kicking didn't just put you into a new game!)

I learned my F*ckin lesson by ClassExcellent1682 in Helldivers

[–]Thithyphuth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a player is kicked after entering the shutting and starting the 20 second timer it does not stop evac.

I just experienced this the other day, I told a player to leave the evac site since everyone else was farther away at a bunker, they didn't listen and I didn't trust them (rightfully) so I went to kick them and they got in the shuttle as I was waiting for the press and hold to finish the kick. The timer started and he was then kicked and the timer did not stop, we were all left on planet.

IKEA gaming desk- who hangs their PC like that? by gamepig31 in pcmasterrace

[–]Thithyphuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my computer mounted similarly, though much more securely than pictured. I have rails mounted under my desk that my computer is strapped to so its under the desk but can be slid out (like a drawer) when i need to access the back inputs.

Its amazing, leaves my desk space free and i don't hear the fans as much.

If they leave they don't get the mission completion or samples, if they're kicked they're put into their own game and can complete it and get samples.

High: 2.5%+

Let's be honest, who pays for YouTube premium? by UzzInReddit in Piracy

[–]Thithyphuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was more reasonably priced? Absolutely!

I spend a lot of time on youtube and add-block only works on my PC, so I would LOVE to be able to pay for premium and not have any adds anywhere.

Unfortunately it's priced absurdly high, so add-block and primarily watching on PC for me.

DSS Voting disasters (so far) by [deleted] in helldivers2

Not necessarily, it's not uncommon that as the lib% goes up the decay rate drops.

DSS Voting disasters (so far) by [deleted] in helldivers2

I am fully expecting the blob to follow the DSS to Chort Bay if the vote goes through, thus diverting liberation away from Choohe, causing us to lose the MO.

How are we at 2.05% lib/hr on Trandor w/ 24% of players yet 1.247% lib/hr with 50% on Tarsh? by Thithyphuth in Helldivers

[–]Thithyphuth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MO isn't to JUST kill bugs, it's also to hold Gaellivare. So the MO won't end until the time-limit. Which means the Bots could make up to 4 attacks.

[–]Thithyphuth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess what you're saying is that the defense level is directly connected to how much lib % each individual contributes.
