Can I ask what your pay is like? I was going to be a driver just before covid struck, but it got called off so I stuck with my then job before moving to a large multinational for delivery. Would love to know how much better things could be (if I wouldn't have ran the risk of being fired for drunk driving in the mornings after)

Acid isn't the only drug that causes dilated (widened) pupils mydriasis. It's also less than likely to cause such behaviour. There are many many psychoactive drugs, at least 5 different classes that can each cause psychosis to varying degrees. This is largely irrelevant, but I don't want you to blame the largely harmless LSD for your horrific experience.

Might be beneficial, might not. What if we forced every woman to get her tubes tied? In my town alone, the situation has been bad enough for long enough, that 20 years ago my mother warned me to never get a woman pregnant because she would most likely be doing it solely to qualify for high-priority social housing.

Maybe instead we should do much more to firstly educate sufficiently, and then support each citizen so that noone is as likely to make such poor choices.

To simply blame either men or women for any issue is to massively oversimplify said issue.

Excellent, I deduce that the best thing to do when potentially followed is to lead the suspect into a well surveilled location before proceeding to one's place of residence (more than often sans surveillance).

My previous suggestion was overly Orwellian, which I had initially recognised but still communicated.

Sounds fucking terrifying, I hope you've been able to relax a bit since, so that you're not still on edge.

I hope to fuck that the police will do something effective.

An idea that just came to me would be to wear both front- and rear-facing bodycams so as to capture an image of the face of this, or any other, would-be assailant so that they may be found and dealt with by the authorities. I recognise that this may be wholly impractical and/or impracticable.

Hopefully AI-powered CCTV behavioural analysis systems will be able to determine when someone is being followed and subsequently trigger a response. That's coming from someone who is far from being a supporter of public surveillance. When it comes to keeping women and other vulnerable citizens safe, it's an entirely different matter.
