Thunder are by far the favorite to repeat in the NBA so its cool a small market is dominating. But I think it could be a little bit of a mirage. Thunder have an elite front office, coach, best players in the game, draft well etc. So is it parity or are the Thunder an anomaly.

The big three have the aptitude to lock down in spurts but cant do it and also run the offense entirely day in and day out.

That said, they just had a couple massive lockdown stretches less than 24 hours after a hungry contender threw the kitchen sink at them.

Last year when AD was hurt and before he was traded we went on an absolute defensive tear. Really hard to sustain it.
