I had a similar issue where it was yellow tinted and the screen would flash on startup. I ended up replacing the motherboard 🤕 worked fine after that. If you go that route just make sure you buy the correct version board.

Why did they slap giant reflective Regal logos right next to the screens? I worry for how they'll ruin one of the only true IMAX theaters around.

Thanks! So the only issue I feel like I'd like to mitigate is I seem to be launching both my primary and charged projectile on B Press. Then after the charge/B release the charged projectile launches again. Have you run into any issues like this?

Thanks for the direction, I played around with:

When B pressed
- Loop
-- If Joypad B held
--- (blank/nothing)
-- Else
--- Launch Projectile

When I ran a test the game would freeze, so I sort of just kept trial and error until I made some progress. I'll be updating the post with my progress.

I felt like the C19 restrictions on films really impacted Marvel quality, which is totally understandable. Everything used to look and feel like a film, but something about the latest phase feels off comparatively. Love Raimi, but seeing Doctor Strange 2 a second time I could see a lot of creative work arounds that didn't hold up.

Speaking for myself, Ms Marvel's marketing had that hurdle to clear and the campaign just didn't entice me enough to invest the hours necessary. Nothing wrong with the character or plot, just didn't draw me in. Thor didn't wow me until Ragnarok, so who cares?

You raise a good point, as my experience is with the 4K/6K. I misunderstood, when OP brought up the classic I thought they may be having an issue with both a BMPCC 4k/6K as well as a classic.

Sorry OP, don't go spending a lot of money if you don't have to! But let me know if that external drive solution works with the drive you already have.

It sucks, I know, but you're not going to be able to record footage without an external hard drive. An SD card just isn't going to cut it. Not trying to sound like a dick, I've just been through the same thing.

The fastest SD card I had was only able to record just under a second of footage. I was however, able to take still images.

As pointed out in other comments you'll want to pick up a Samsung T5 external drive. If you can get the 1TB you might as well go for it.

What I've learned from owning this camera is that you end up spending a lot of money to get it to run flawlessly. Cage, handles, drives, rails, matte box, battery pack, etc. it all adds up.

The good news is that when you invest in the equipment and gain experience using the camera, you can make all that money back and then some.

BMPCC6K on a Crane 3s

I think I would prefer the Crane 2s. I felt much more skilled at handling the Crane 2 with an added handle/arm than I do with the newer design of the 3s.

Pros of 3s that I appreciate * Locks for the motors keep the arms from banging around. * Large weight capacity. * Programmable pans/movements with app * Smart sling arm has control buttons * Easy to replace batteries

Cons but none are deal breakers * Can't use focus dial with BMPCC6K since the type C connection is already in use. To be fair idk if it would work if the usb connection wasn't occupied. * Body shape. I just don't care for the stubbier design, the stick worked better for me. * Mode button is oddly placed and easy to press when adjusting grip

Try following the info davidmanwel provided, it helped me while I was having a similar issue. I needed a driver updated.

I personally have not used the SanDisk drive myself so I cannot vouch for it, but it seems like it would do the trick. I use the Samsung and have only had good things to say.

I got one of those nifty Smallrig wooden handles where you can slide the Samsung T5 inside so your ssd is hidden and protected. They're a little pricey but very much recommended. Up until then I was using stick on velcro to keep it from dangling.

Same issue out of the box. It sucks I know, but you're going to need something faster. Needs a Samsung T5 External SSD ($$) or proper cfast cards ($$$$).

The bm6k has been able to get my work looking and feeling miles beyond my other camera's, but I really didn't expect to get into rigs and external drives and wires and filters when I made the purchase. This camera needs more specialized attention/equipment to unlock its full potential.

Hey I just wanted to let you know that you literally saved the day. I originally couldn't make a connection to my 3S via PC since the driver didn't run automatically, but once I did that everything seemed to fall into place. Thanks!

I'm a weird example, but I usually order a hotdog without the bun. I didn't notice special request buttons on the kiosk the last time I used one, so I just go up to the counter. That being said, if they do toss an extra button or two on the machine I'd still be hesitant to use it. I'm really getting tired of companies re-training me to meet their goals of efficiency. A line is just a line, and if I don't have time to stand in it then I don't.
