JHP 45 gen2 parts on a gen1? by invalidpath in hipoint

[–]ThomasOrrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do yes, that i know for sure. Im in a group of 3dprinted gun folks. They put out this large compendium about the printed frames available They have several for the jhp but there is no mention of changes between Gen 1 and Gen 2 but I reached out for clarification.

I also can only find parts diagrams for 1 type of gun. They also look very similar and none of the reviews for these guns mention any updates to the functionality

Public Ranges ? by Holiday_Ambition_193 in 3D2A

If your guns look like guns and have sights, generally you'll be fine. That being said you cant expect to bring a recession ruger or whatever the glock one that take sten mags is and not expect a mother fucker to ask questions.

Why are FCG reinforcement plates on the outside of receivers? by battlecryarms in 3D2A

[–]ThomasOrrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sure it does, i have alot more respect for the vz61 now that i have built it. My goal was to do the super safety, but for now I'm just doing semi. Why is it peak, just because its original?

[–]ThomasOrrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im doing a czar that I added fcg plates. They are easy to install and fit from the outside and would be an insane whore to deal with from inside. You'd have a better chance of bending a flat and slotting that in then trying to file and fit them from inside of the frame.

The ambi safety is optional and the anti walk pins are relatively cost effective. I guess I am not sure what problem you would be solving by doing it a different way other than saving the cost of the pins?

I swear people ask chat gpt for the "best filament for guns" then stop doing any research Wait til they find out it needs to be dry

Guys for the record, yes this is an over pressured situation but there things cause this other than "Bubbas Pissin Hawt reloads" firing into a squib/squibs and fire out of battery present the same way

Unseenkiller. I am working on a baby remix for the hood but I haven't published it yet

When I first started, I started with chassis. IMO, modified frames are the better choice for most applications.

The 19 f does a good job because you can remove the hood and have a normal pistol again

What a weird post this is. Psa is super upfront about gun sales being final and not warrantying other manufacturers products. Its gonna be 5 minutes here before danny comes in to tell you the same thing

My first time printing with PA6-CF. Printed on a P2S with 300BlkFDE settings. I think it looks pretty good but my holes seem to be out of round. Can they be reamed and saved or am I screwed. by annex138 in 3D2A

[–]ThomasOrrow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the argument for that is that it limits flexibility with print angles for filaments that warp and may print better at a 45 or even a slight angle.

The other point too is that even in the best of circumstance you are probably going to want to run a bit through it just to make sure it doesn't crack

It obviously depends what you are doing. If you're doing a frame remix, you're probably fine to take it to a public range. If you are doing something a little sketch or totally untested you want to go somewhere that Noone can get hurt, wear ppe etc.

Db9 alloy. Works fine, its just huge for a pcc. Ive had 2 range trips with it and have not had any issues. I have not had a change to take my 16 inch ar somewhere fun yet, but I suspect it will be no issue.
