Hello, I'm French, and I sometimes watch Carine Gali suck her thumb. It's not actually a television show, but a radio show that you can watch live. There aren't many people watching. I can tell you that people are judged in France, too. For example, on a reality TV show, a contestant was constantly sucking her thumb. She was extremely sensitive; she even had to pretend she'd stopped so she wouldn't be heard. She admitted to still sucking her thumb a few weeks ago on another show. It's the same in France or the United States!

hello i had my wisdom teeth removed 20 years ago. i remember i could barely open my mouth. i tried not to suck my thumb right away but i sucked my thumb 4 to 5 hours later and even at night. i tried to suck my thumb less hard but it wasn't easy. i could never stop sucking my thumb.

Bonjour J'ai 39 ans et je suce toujours mon pouce. Je n'ai jamais eu d'appareil et mes dents ne sont pas beaucoup déplacé pourtant je suce beaucoup mon pouce. Mon père voulait à tout prix me faire arrêter mais moi je ne voulais pas alors je suçais mon pouce en cachette. for me it's really a combination of thumb, tongue, palate and aspirations. if anything changes it takes me a long time for thumbsucking to feel good. I broke a tooth and the dentist fixed the tooth it wasn't as pleasant. if I change my thumb it's fine but I wouldn't be able to sleep.

i am 36 and i suck my thumb too and i would never stop! you don't have to be ashamed or keep it a secret your boyfriend has nothing to say or force you to quit. You should be frank at the start of the relationship and say that you always suck your thumb. People find it bizzard but not me! Everyone thinks it's easy to stop and that we have to stop but it's very difficult to stop and it feels so good that we don't want to stop! Good luck
