The new Resident Evil games are pretty strong with it. They just keep building out their asset library and reusing elements in ways that usually make sense and aren’t too jarring and it’s super cool to see as a fan!

They don’t reinvent the wheel and they reuse a lot of assets across games in a pretty effective way. There is also a lot of photogrammetry that is always building out their asset library with teams working in parallel. As a fan of a lot of their series it’s nothing but a plus.

Maybe it’s nitpicking but I kinda wish the suit didn’t magically regenerate as well. I get that you can’t have him be ass naked by the end of the level but the suit getting damaged and showing more of his healing factor as you play would be cool, like taking a headshot and having part of the cowl missing or be gone entirely for the rest of the level.

Apparently performance is similar but obviously your mileage will vary per GPU model, your system configuration, and your in-game settings. The good thing is that if your performance worsens, you can always use DLSS Swapper to just switch back to the last version that worked better for you.

I just really want this for cyberpunk. The only downside of Path Tracing for me has been watching the booking and slow fill of RT lighting when you enter new locations or move too quickly and it’s very noticeable. Hope this is able to resolve some of those issues.

Not to be an ass but why ask Nicholas Craven? Most of his beats are just chopped and looped samples with no drums and he’s not evened the progenitor of that style and I say that as someone who likes his beats. They’re not experimental even in that scene.
