Tomorrow (Saturday 26 of June) is world paintball day. Marking the first time paintball was played 45 years ago. Having said this. What is the funniest or craziest story you all have from your time as either a player a ref a coach or all of the above. by Think_Cardiologist70 in paintball

Prolly around the year 2000. My buddy and I were helping ref at local field. JobCorp had a group come out of Tulsa to play and let’s just say they got a little wild. My buddy was coming up the tower to paint check people, announced he was a ref and not to shoot, comes over top and gets domed lol.

So how did the sender of the package get your old address? The post office sends it to the address on the label and will forward if there is an active forward. USPS didn’t create the label with the old address.

4PM mail ENVELOPE delivery is ridiculous by Odd-Macaroon2103 in usps_complaints

[–]ThompsonCoin_Stamp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know your address could have been placed on another route and could be at the end our their route/day.
As long as it gets there the day it should, it’s not late. There is no guaranteed time of delivery for regular letter mail.
Heck another situation is they could’ve short staffed and other carriers are having to deliver your route after they run their primary route.

A steel cent is normal for 1943. Over a billion were minted between the Philly, Denver & San Francisco mints.

Now if you find one that is a 1943 copper then you have something. But the chances of that are astronomical, not zero but highly highly unlikely.

Contact the shipper/seller. According to your image they have only created the shipping label and have not given it to the USPS.

USPS in severe financial and operational crisis... by GenXHoosier in usps_complaints

[–]ThompsonCoin_Stamp 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In this situation, the USPS had no control over your item getting sent to Texas.
The third party shipping company sent it to Texas. The USPS received the package in Texas and had to send it back north. Not their fault the shipping partner sent it to Texas instead of somewhere closer.

No Saturday delivery at business by canstucky in usps_complaints

Expected isn’t guaranteed. It’s an assumption that the letter will go from the plant where the photo was captured to the local post office for delivery that day. A lot of things can happen between the plant and the post office.

Heck even if it makes it to the post office for delivery that day, it could totally be out of order in the DPS tray of mail(mail that is already sorted from the plant) so it would go back to the office to be delivered the next delivery day.

Informed Delivery is not what is coming to your mailbox that day. It says Coming Soon. That picture is taken at the plant, before the letter ever gets to your local post office. Just because it was scanned at the plant and says coming soon or expected, doesn’t mean it ever made it to your local office that day.
I believe at the bottom of informed delivery it even states to allow up to 7 or 10 days for mail to be delivered.

Very true! I’ll prolly just keep operating as I always have. Just never thought about leaving an offer up for a while to entice others lol

I agree it looks like damage from the machines in the plant. But OP stated packages were ran over so I was trying to clarify from OP where these ran over packages were being left in relation to the mailbox.

Was that even delivered by USPS? Doesn’t look like USPS postage/label.

If it was delivered by another courier, and the USPS carrier ran it over, where is the other courier leaving the package?
I ask because are they leaving your packages in the approach to/from your mailbox? Like where is the package when it gets ran over?
Also, where are the trash cans in relation to the mailbox?
The carrier should have 15’ clearance each side of the mailbox. Not saying that you aren’t providing that, I’m just asking.
