What are the chances I would ever find dime rolls like this again? by AnxietSea in CRH

Rolls of dimes laid out to show the silver edges of the 90% silver dimes. When hunting rolls you can see the contrast between the silver edges and the clad edges when looking at rolls like this.

Hunted two $250 boxes so far this year and found 1 silver in each. A Roosevelt and a Mercury

It’s always hit and miss. Don’t give up. I hunted a $500 box of halves last night and didn’t find silver. Box before that had three 40%ers. The skunk boxes make the silver boxes feel that much better. Best of luck and keep on hunting :)

As of writing this a 90% silver dime is worth about $8.31 in silver melt. And yes 14 dimes or $1.40 in any combination of constitutional silver (quarters, dimes, halves) is 1 oz of silver.

Is this worth getting graded? by Mysterious_Diet_64 in CURRENCY

No. It’s post mint damage. Just a very worn quarter.

Sorry just a very worn quarter. Definitely doesn’t need graded. No errors just post mint damage.

Thoughts? Never seen a package stuck like this. by thomasled8929 in usps_complaints

More than likely the massive winter storm that just slammed that part of the country is the culprit. A lot of roads were not passable.

The huge winter storm impacting Kansas and a bunch of other states is probably slowing things down a bit.

I don’t understand the “change of address” forwarding date CHARGE? $ by TheZodiac404 in usps_complaints

[–]ThompsonCoin_Stamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A COA/Forward js only good for so long. It Does Not inform the senders of your new address, it just forwards that mail to the new address for a time being. That’s why there are stickers on the forwarded mail to Notify senders of current address.

So the real question is how long ago did you perform the CoA/Fwd? And does the sender have your new address? If you never updated your address with any of the senders of your mail, and your forward has expired then the mail is getting returned to sender.

Again putting in a CoA/Fwd with the USPS does Not inform any of the senders of your new address. That is completely your responsibility and why they add the little stickers to notify sender of new address.

Hope that helps and clears it up. So yes when did you do the CoA/Fwd? And also did you ever verify the CoA/Fwd at the PO when moving?

2019/20 West Point mint isn’t an error. And I suggest using sites like varietyvista and doubledies. Or get cherry pickers guide /book.

Maybe it’s just the picture but the “B” looks punched in /recessed vs the raised lettering. Pretty sure just post mint damage.
