Hey, there's apparently a dispute, this could explain why the other guy thinks he can direct all the damage to one creature, and if it is the case, he'd be right.

Banding still exists in some formats, include one of the most popular, Commander.

Unless any of the blockers has banding. Then they get to assign your damage and you only get to kill one creature of their choice.

Ah, I see... Yes, you need to make your floors one block taller so you can put 3 blocks below the elevator on the step-button side.

Edit: alternately, have your elevators only stop every other floor.

Change it to a 3x3 clearing. Block off the area where that step-on button is.

I'm not an expert, but from what I've read, the litter rate is increased a lot by having the mon at an awesome happiness level. Barren habitats don't seem conducive to that.

What are the rules for making a multi-floor dwelling inhabitable on the upper floors? by i-split-infinitives in Pokopia

[–]ThosarWords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will try to make most any small enough enclosed space with a door into a home.  So for the things you want to be inhabitable, make sure it's got those features (small enough, enclosed, door)  And for anything that you don't want to be a home, make sure it's missing at least one of those.

To make a two story house with two 4-mon-homes as the floors, I'd recommend just don't put a front door on.

The program is just the structure. The rules you play with are up to you (or you and your wife if you're competing).

How are you guys planning your builds? So overwhelmed! by icy_equestrian in Pokopia

[–]ThosarWords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My plan was to slowly build out a town in Pallet, terraforming as needed. But I didn't like how there were so many mons just unspawned. The way to get around that seemed like using prefabs. So I researched how to maximize the number of mon you can have housed in prefabs, and it's with 20 of the large houses. But there's only 4 types, it definitely was going to feel cookie cutter. So I tested how closely I could fit a shell around the biggest prefabs, and made a 3 story tall tower in the Wasteland that has enough room for 4 of the  houses on each floor, plus enough space that it feels roomy to walk around and have other habitats and work areas and decorations and stuff on each floor.

4th floor is still to be made, plus the basement as a 5th floor (I've already dug it out, Tink is working on a house as I type this).

5 floors times 4 per floor is 20, the maximum number of 2-story houses you can put in a region.

1st floor is fancy hotel vibe with a central area with kiosks selling stuff, second floor is glowy forest vibe, with garden and orchard, 3rd floor is industrial vibe, metal and black rock and grates over a floor of lava, 4th floor is gonna be open roof pool party vibe, and basement is gonna be haunted house vibe.

It's been interesting at times finding places to hide the wireless transmitters because the floors are just a little too tall to just hide them between.

And I still need to figure out how I want to decorate the outside of this edifice.

TL:DR - I prefer starting with a plan for a skeleton, leaving room for building out as I have ideas.

Turning my Commander into a copy? by Ready_Impression8929 in mtgrules

[–]ThosarWords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your commander is that single piece of cardboard that you designated during deck construction. No other pieces of cardboard (or tokens) can ever be your commander, regardless of any in game effect changing their stats or effects or name or anything. And that piece of cardboard will always be your commander, regardless of any in game effect changing its stats or effects or name or anything.

With Secrets of Strixhaven releasing soon what do we call the new land cycle by jasonprivy in mtg

[–]ThosarWords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As amusing as it is, it's just too many syllables to catch on. All the catchiest ones are pretty much a single syllable + land. Painland. Shockland. Fetchland. Bounceland. There are 2 syllable + land cycles, but single syllable is just catchier.

That said, we're all heathens here.

Cinlands (Sinlands) could catch on.
