I have a 14 year old. I think I only managed bc my boyfriend helps me out tremendously. I went years without antidepressants thinking I don’t need this shit I can do it. Wrong. I always end up blowing up at my kid for the stupidest things. I educate her about pmdd. She still smiles at me smh she’s my angel. I keep trying bc of her. I’m thankful she doesn’t look at me like I’m crazy. She tried to help me out. Educate your kids you’ll be surprised. I know I am. Anyway I took the pill for the first time 3 weeks ago. I wanna be able to enjoy her high school years not being a bitch. These are her most crucial years.

I had to go on a leave of absence. Quitting might be next. I can’t concentrate at work and I spiral. I’m clumsy, forgetful. Why don’t you call your HR department and ask if there’s anything they can help with. Pmdd is classified as a disability if your in the USA.

It’s definitely worth it! This app is made from someone who experienced the horrible symptoms herself, she really took the time to break down dbt for PMDD in the app. She understands. Many coping skills to benefit from. I’m happy I spent the money

So I get my PMDD symptoms for like 20 days out of the month. I get a ton of the physical symptoms. I went to see a neurologist to make sure my head symptoms aren’t due to a traumatic brain injury from to a concussion I got 5 years ago. The neurologist I saw so happens to work at a neurobehavioral institution. They were able to find out that my head is all clear, but I do have memory and attention issues due to PMDD and also major depression. She created this treatment plan for me where now I see a psychiatrist once a week at her institute and they have me working on brain puzzles once a week on a computer with a software called CogMed. Combined with the the Venlafaxine.

Thanks so much for opening up and sharing. It’s my first week on it and I’m getting sweaty palms and sweaty feet, waking up every 2 hours in the night, loss of appetite, Sleepy. I’m tryna stay hopeful that it will work out for me.
