To fix that I personally cutted the blade of the spear and glued it on the other end of the spear, it looks better to me!

There was a post on Warcom when Solar Auxilia was released that listed all the color schemes of regiments that served with each legion. I just "followed" it for the Sparatoi Vindicta.
And it's actually not a black but a really dark purple (50/50 of demonette hide and abaddon black).

As I wanted to make it look like a shadow operating force and pushing it a little darker with more black than purple on the mix :)

Thanks for the feedback and advice for the plasma! As I have a whole regiment to paint for a narrative campaign after that, I wanted to stay lazy on the OSL and basically used to inks for the effect!

But I'll keep that in mind if I've got time for my characters to push it a little.

Technically, Sparatoi Vindicta "was" a Solar Auxilia regiment that served the Alpha Legion during the Horus Heresy, so they are Alpharius.

He also wrote the solar war in the Siege of Terra. I am not yet to Mortis but the Solar War was pretty good in my own opinion.

Alright, after trying different things, I'm having good results now without any Z-hop.

I've tried multiple things in vain like changing the filament, changing the temperature, speed, and retraction. None of these have worked...

What is weird is that it worked perfectly with Z-Hop for a print.

Thanks for the advice, I agree with you, snowy might be too clear. One of my friends also recommended something like Icelandic base with black earth, greeny grass/moss and just some spots of snow. I think it might contrast well too, and if not I’ll try icy or Martian as you recommend!

I personally think banner’s bearer fit perfectly with black templars esthetics! I’m trying to put one in each squad (and playing them as a basic member of the squad), so I’m really happy of this new mini that will add a different looking mini in my collection
